  1. A 78 second loop of In My Life by The Beatles which lasts just over an hour... The Beatles - In My Life [1 HOUR] - YouTube
  2. Neither, a biotech company that produced medical conduits mainly for bypass surgery.
  3. The comparative figures per capita for Scotland (137.3) is much lower than Engerlund's (196) despite them being similar for the first wave of the pandemic IIRC. If I were to hazard a guess I'd say the lesser restrictions in Engerlund since Lockdown1 ended especially the "not even in hindsight" decision by BJ to put London into Tier 2 with the new Kent variant just about to take off cost thousands of lives.
  4. @Eric Arthur Blair It may or may not be of interest to you but back in the pre-punk era John Peel was a fan, yes the same John Peel who championed Marc Bolan and who appeared on TOTP pretending to play mandolin for Rod Stewart in Maggie May.
  5. The love that dare not speak its name. @antrin Just to clarify that in the original poem there was no apostrophe...
  6. No but I do like to see a well turned out sheep...
  7. The one possible drawback for NZ I can see is that they seem to have a relatively high rate of folks indicating they won't take the vaccine.
  8. Their PM said they were gonna wait and see... They have already vaccinated "18,000 workers within NZ's border regime and their families" and announced general roll out plans 3 days ago!
  9. Can you provide the figures for your claim regarding the deaths per capita. I feel the ONS figures (from yesterday) comprehensively disprove it. AreaSorted column (descending) - Apply ascending sort. DeathsUnsorted column - Apply ascending sort. Rate per 100,000 populationUnsorted column - Apply ascending sort. Wales 5,436 172.4 Scotland 7,500 137.3 Northern Ireland 2,097 110.7 England 110,310 196
  10. I've noticed Ruth Davidson claiming the SNP have passed their "high water mark" in interviews recently - I can't help feeling the upcoming Holyrood elections will be a watershed moment after recent events, a convincing win up for us Nats and it's just gonna be a question of when we get a second referendum but a poor showing will set the cause back a decade and who knows what the world will be like in the 30s? Nobody comes out of the Salmond shitstorm well but I wonder if in a couple of years from now he'll wonder if playing for approval from the Express/Mail audience for a fortnight will have been worth it?
  11. Yeah I remember being in the Clean Room at work (pre baking daze for me) - hearing about it was one of those JFK moments. ***************** I caught a few minutes at the end of the program whilst in the canteen at work but can't say it still affected me - maybe I'm just callous these days, but I feel these anniversaries should be for those personally affected by the events. Still in these post-Diana days perhaps we're all entitled to a share of the grief. Obviously in this age of social media the concept of the stiff upper lip which was not just a British phenomenon (Japan shared this attitude) and was described as necessary for survival by furners like Freud & Dylan (Bob).
  12. Well that ought to putt another 💰 onto his transfer fee...
  13. I'm working class, and have been working throughout the pandemic, and yeah by and large I do support the restrictions which have saved lives. Unlike you Cap'n I'm not a bitter fantasist quoting irrelevant statistics that I don't understand... Oh and you could have congratulate Sevco on winning their first major "tophy" if you wanted... You should've stuck to posting about long ball theory Cap'n, you only looked eccentric then - not a mad cunt...
  14. By my reckoning Dylan Reid must be our new youngest ever first team player replacing Scott Gemmill - Congratulations! Given that big clubs tend to splash out on potential these days how much would you be prepared to let him go for this summer - £2/3Million? 💰💰💰
  15. Like @lenziebud said above the Fakes game against Ross County will be a similar scenario to ours against Accies - at least it's in our hands. FFS - How many spelling mistakes can you make in a one line post?
  16. It's in our hands - I'd rather be in our position than the Fakes!
  17. That was only true before today if you had already written us off for the match today. I wouldn't do that personally, but each to their own! No, the situation at the start of play was that if the Fakes finished level on points with us which could only happen by them winning their last 2 games and us finishing with a defeat and a draw (in either order) our advantage in GD would be wiped out and they'd be guaranteed to finish above us either on GD or goals scored - I assumed nothing, the size of today's defeat doesn't materially change anything. We need to match whatever the Fakes manage against County.
  18. It wasn't before today... Yes it was, before today the relative GD was +3 for us but two wins for the Fakes and one draw and one defeat for us was always gonna wipe that out - the Fakes have scored more overall than us so it is as I predicted on Wednesday the case that we will have to match whatever the Fakes do in Game 33 unless Hibs equalize. A humping today doesn't not change the situation - Mon the Hibzzzz!
  19. GD is already in the Fakes favour if we finish level on points...
