There's something not right with our 'develop young players to sell" tactics. The contracts we offer seem to put all the power in the players hands. No matter what way you look at it, the timing of Mclean's move is very damaging to St Mirren and could see us relegated. We saw in the summer that Mcginn's head was turned very easily by Sheffield United so he is likely to go for cheap at the first opportunity. We need to get longer, tougher contracts in place and demand a bit more respect for the club And that includes stopping players contracted to us tweeting their support for other Scottish clubs. There seems to be a lax, who gives a crap attitude throughout the club now.

The BoD should just sell copies of the Balance Sheet this Saturday instead of a match day programme as it seems to be the only show in town now.

If the development fee would have been £250,000 in the summer and we have received say £275,000 for our best player when in a relegation fight with a paper thin squad, is the BoD really saying that our premiership survival is worth less than £25,000?

Maybe we have been spoiled by having really decent centre forwards like McGarvey, Somner, Lavety etc. Watching this new breed of non goal scoring forwards is agony.

I wouldn't dismiss this article. If a fraction of that behaviour occurs at St Mirren it will be the end of the club. Good supporters are already fed up and losing interest. I am very surprised that the BoD have not already said thanks but no thanks to this consortium. I hope that the BoD think very carefully and don't destroy their own credibility and legacy.

I'm sure the BoD will have done due diligence on the new owners. We are still St Mirren. New ideas and new energy about the club could be the lift we need. It would be good to see the new owners and SMISA meet early and work together.

The BoD must still be in serious negotiations with buyers. The silence can surely only be down to them being under some sort of embargo.

At this stage I would take a leaf out of the Tony Fitzpatrick book of management and bring in as many players as possible in the hope we can discover a gem or two to save this season.

I'm a big fan of this BoD but their lack of communication with the fans is disappointing - everyone is suffering and looking for some sign that the BoD know we are fighting for our life.
