We all know when it shuts. However, it seems our preferred targets have largely signed for other clubs or stayed where they are. So, on the balance of probabilities and based on the signings to -date, it appears to have been a sub optimal window for Alan and his team and us. This likely outcome may be a good starting point for GLS to evaluate. Alan seemed to have made good signings for Hibs. Was that down to him or did he have help? If he had help then get that guy in or provide help in some other way before January. Darren and Pat are not Alan's usual team. Maybe that needs looked at?

My observation still stands though. We are not equipped for this league as things stand. We have failed to strengthen sufficiently and time has run out in this window. Disappointing.

Key messages perhaps being "slowly" and "replaced those not up to the challenge with people who were". AS is ripping out any semblance of continuity and team spirit and is bringing in rookies.

Very sensible comments from our Captain. Pretty much what we all think. The new guys are inexperienced and represent a huge gamble. It looks like AS has either underestimated the standard of top flight Scottish football or overestimated his ability to improve untested rookies or both. I do disagree with Steven when he says it's not yet a crisis. It is. We are a soft mess .The crisis will deepen if we offload Cammy Smith. Hopefully GLS gets AS in first thing this morning and takes over all transfer decision making - in and out.
