  1. Have you listened to what Stubbs says in arriving at your view he is a nice bloke? He is always blaming others and taking a step back from responsibility, little wonder he can't get the players working for him, would you? Unless he gets that he is part of the team that is struggling badly and that the fans care about the club and he should too, then we are in for a very trying time. Better to stick with him now, but someone needs to read the riot act to Alan Stubbs tonight. His atitude is not how we do things here, ask Alex Rae!
  2. Look at what Stubbs says, he criticises everyone, nothing is good enough, individual mistakes, lack of desire. Well Alan, desire stems from the top and you won’t get that if you criticise them all. I feel sick when I hear or read your comments. Do you care about St Mirren? If not then F off now!
  3. The key to getting the fans inside is being authentic. Jack’s row in the stand was because he cared for the players who he knew were improving and for the club. AS appears distant and detached from the club ,the players and the fans. I hope he is really successful but in the short term he needs to start giving us something even if that is off the pitch while he gets the players playing his way. He is making a difficult job harder and if the fans attitude hardens, the club will be the losers. Tony, have a word! We love you for all the good you have given us, help AS before it is too late. SMTID
  4. Why were we no in for him? Where are you Alan Stubbs? You didn't stand aside for your favourite club did you?
  5. who give a f*ck what Alex are thinks, tosser!
  6. Jack has delt with this with a huge amount of dignity and respect for St Mirren and, for once, St Mirren has delt with a very difficult situation with a huge amount of dignity. How refreshing is that given the shambles that is Rangers and the arrogance that is celic? Well done Gordon! At least we didn't sack Jack for no reason whatsoever (Fergie!) I am far more grateful for what Jack has done for us than gutted that he and James have left and believe me, I am absolutely gutted, but we could not stand in his way. Jack Ross is SMTID, he played, he led, he managed, he delivered. Our club, Love Street and the new ground, The Northbank, Paisley and all we have loved together over the last 20 months will remain in his heart and wherever he is managing, he will send us players and look for our result. Good luck Jack, thanks for everything! SMTID
  7. Jack is a Buddie first and foremost and has explained the importance of loyalty and team work to the team on many occaisions. Jack's plan for the sale and loan back of Lewis Morgan was centered around his values and played on Jacks's and Lewis's love for the club and worked brilliantly. Jack has a superb future ahead, he is as good as, if not better than, Fergie at this stage and he should know that he has time on his side. Skip the Aberdeen phase, stay at Saints then come to West Brom (who I watch in exile!) before Old Trafford. Jack, I am not joking, please don't rush away! Yes for St Mirren but equally for you. Take your time, trust yourself and storm the SPL with your club! SMTID (just like Jack!)
  8. Jack is a Buddie, he stayed when Dundee came calling and the relationship he has with Stephen McGinn is based on their love of our club. He is ambitious and will want to win the league, listen to his interviews, he won't walk now but whether or not he will stay next season depends on just how ambitious we are going to be. Better clubs than Barnsley will come calling! Don't assume James would stay if Jack goes and while Jim is a legend, he is not a manger I am afraid. Jack orchestrated Lewis Morgan's move to Glasgow and will know how to manage his own career which is best served by winning the Championship and then sustaining SPL status next year. After that, Aberdeen then Manchester United are both within his capability. Never seen anybuddie more Ferguson than Jack! As proud to be a Buddie as Jack!
  9. Well done SMFC! Gordon Scott, Jack Ross and Lewis Morgan have all done the right thing by the club which is unheard of these days. Lewis could have walked but we keep him and get as much as we got for wee Stevie Mallan. Be great if Stevie came back on loan and both lads got winners medals but we are still a long way off winning anything and have yet to go through a bad spell, which we will. So brilliant lads, credit to you all, but get focussed on the job in hand. Nothing else matters. COYS!
  10. Jack, you are the real deal! Thank you for confirming your position regarding returning our club to where it belongs. You are already and will be an even more successful manager but spending 4 or 5 years here will teach you more than jumping around for a few quid or a dodgy promise of investment. St Mirren and Jack Ross are synonymous for now and the potential is limitless. Fergie took us from 1500 gates to 15000 gates and you clearly have the ability, honesty, drive and communication skills, not to mention football knowhow to equal that (even if we don't quite have the ground!). You don't need to sell the club to new players, they can see what is going on. Same for the fans and the manager Jack! Personally, I can't wait for next season and now we don't need to be distracted by press speculation. SMTID, just like JR!
  11. This is not about our Chairman, we should pay jack whatever Dundee think they can pay him FFS, the second club in a shite city should not out bid St Mirren. I trust Gordon and the fans who own the club to find enough money, they really have no option. I will join in to help. It is really about you Jack, work with momentumn, passion and a much bigger club (remind me what Dundee have won in living memory?) We can challenge for the league next year, could have 7K plus at home if we do and Jack, you will manage us in the SPL. Our success, Jack, your success. Something you have started (thank f*ck) something you own. Or you can go to somewhere that will struggle and struggle, will be overtaken by their big brothers within 2 or 3 years. Jack, you asked us to get behind you, it's your turn son! SMTID, Jack?
  12. Haud on a minute! Jack played for us, has talked good players into coming to us, to sign longer contracts with us, been straight with us when things were good or shite, so why would he f*ck off now? He has the potential, real potential and real momentum to be as great as Fergie, who was loyal and true to his belief in St Mirren(before Willy Todd shat himself). Jack is great at football management and at public messaging, he would be letting himself down if he walked at this stage in his career and our renaissance. Jack, we backed you..................................................................trust yourself and trust St Mirren!
  13. Ohhhhhh Wee Stevie Mallan, should stay for another season on a three year deal with double his existing wages and a release clause at £1m or on us achieving promotion. Jack Ross is undoubtedly the right person for the lad who has improved brilliantly under his guidance and Barnsley has nothing to offer in football or in any other way. Who has heard of their manager Paul Heckinbottom and is his journeyman background (nothing wrong with that) the right thing for someone who is going to be a top class player. Better to continue with Jack for now but make sure he has a route out when he is ready to leave next year. Go on Stevie, you know it makes sense!
  14. All very amusing lads but two things; all we can do is beat Raith and Hibs, that should hopefully be enough to keep us out of the playoffs but the playoffs were beyond our dreams not so long ago, remember? never mind including the play offs in the season ticket price (are you aberdonian?), we need to support the club now. Just 6 months ago we were bereft, without hope and now we have had the most exciting season since Fergie was here. Give everything you can to carry the team and the club over the line and then let's make sure we are never here again. Really Proud to be a Buddy! COYS!
  15. 3.8% of sweet f*ck all is still sweet f*ck all Wakey wakey FFS!
  16. This is f*cking heartbreaking. We are facing Armageddon and someone suggests we need £50k and gets shot down. We need £500k as a minimum to get this sorted, we cannot afford another relegation as we simply wont come back. The new owners have rapidly found themselves in the same position as the old Board, no money and no ideas but at least they knew what the problems were. The Chairman and SMiSA should not have bought the club for even £1 if they did not have money to sort out matters on the pitch. It would simply be reckless if they have committed every £ they have already. As for the pitch, understand this is not the problem, but the vendors must have given Representations and Warranties as part of the sale. It they did warranty the USH then they should pay up. If they disclosed the issues then the Chairman should pay and if the question wasn't asked then we should ask the lawyers and the Chairman why not. To mention this in the audited accounts is embarrassing in the extreme and more fitting of the local bowls club (apologies to bowls clubs) But let's not get distracted form the critical on field position we are in and let's make sure that everyone supports the salvation from now. It will only be longer, more expensive and more depressing if will sink further. Chairman, you wanted it, now respect the obligations you have. People of Paisley and Renfrewshire, please please please turn out in your droves from now on! Remember it's our club really. SMTID
  17. Don't remember Fergie slagging his players off every single week. Read Alex's post match comments 'nothing to do with tactics' 'down to individuals.... the old ones' Week after week he just dodges his responsibility to be professional rather than point the finger, support the players and motivate them positively. This negative, nothing to do with me' style is shite. Alex, take repsonsibility, be profesional and support your players..................or f**k off!
  18. Jimmy Calderwood is favourite with the bookies at 6 to 1 with Barry Ferguson at 8's. Looks like its early days. Which one of yous is going to put your hand up for Chief Exec?
  19. Listen, it's too early to guage how Ian Murray will do so no need to get on his or anybuddy else's back, BUT, losing a 2 goal lead at home is totally unacceptable and all those responsible, from the Chairman to the subs needs to take fuc*ing hard look at themselves, now! We need to wake up and get a grip!
  20. Typical Well really, glad they face a playoff and hope they join us in Div 2. Never forgiven them for damaging Frank McGarvey in the Scottish Cup 4th round after we scared Dundee United 4: 1 back in the 70's.
  21. Can't remember feeling so sad and desolute and I've been a Buddie for over 50 years, so not a stranger to relegation or the struggle that is St Mirren FC. Why is this different? a board that has been missing in inaction for months if not longer, the speed of decline, from cup winners to abject shite, from fighting and striving to improve to giving up before we start. 8 goals conceeded in 2 games against the two teams above us highlights just how much we deserved to be relegated. Nothing to gain by having a go at Gary Teale, he was an innocent in this, time for the board to go now. Their shares are worthless so leave alone, you have caused more damage than you can imagine, have lost your own confidence and your gamble to sell our club. Go please just go. SMTID
  22. I am in for the dosh if the whole thing is in trust and if we trust who is going to run the business aswell as the team. SG & current board, plus 2 elected from fans/investors and providing one has real business/financial experience, ideally within football. It's probably now or insolvency!
