I could not disagree more! Why do we have to be a perennial promotion and relegation team? Outwith the old firm, hibs, hearts, Aberdeen and utd, we are one of the most supported teams in scotland! Ie rank 7th. Comparisons to trophy success per generation? it is completely itrelevent! I would rather be challenging in the top 6 and getting the experience of European nights, against a 26 year cycle of winning a cup! That said, the frustration and anger within the support currently, is that even tho we have been in the top flight for 8 years and won the league cup, there has been no form of progression in our team as a top flight club! Infact the opposite has happened and it is a direct result of those running the Show lacking ambition, or know how in marketing our team to prospective buyers!! People have became disenchanted recently, passions run high, emotion rules the head at times, and knee jerk overtones of abandonment will subside. However the actions of the board are paramount to supporters engagement in the team, and due to their recent history of streamlining expenditure, lack of ambition, and (let's be charitable) mediocre appointments, we the support, in the large part are feeling short changed for our commitment and expenditure in following the team! No one is disputing our love of the club, but who actually believes the current BOD are on the same wave length as the common supporter?? Their ship sailed 5 years ago! Your last statement topcat was... Choice... Chucking it or sticking it out? The fans will always, as history has proven will stick it out, our current board have chucked it, and need to go! With every failure will come blame, and our current plight falls firmly on the heads of SG and the rest!!!! totheir

Dundee 3-1 utd. Why is that important? It shows that club owners who put finances above playing capacity in January suffer! We sold our best player (cut price) replaced him with a guy who hasn't hit the net yet, and managed by an untried player coach! ......... Utd, sold their two superstars to prospective 1/4 finalist opponents, title rivals, cup finalists, and so far have picked up 1 point in their last 8 games! The form teams in the league?? RC and Motherwell!! Why?? Owners thinking long rather than short term and making the right investments in their team! I realise I've a narrow view on this, but it makes me sick to my stomach thinking of the mess our club is in, and listening to chick spout his pish about cash flow! We generate the same gate revenue as the fakes, Inverness, dundee, Patrick, killie, (list goes on) yet when was the last time you heard of them having to sell their star player in order to pay the rest of the squads wages!!?? Our current BoD, pls ffs GTF, you don't want to be at the helm, your rinsing us (supporters) of our cash, in order to produce an amateurish product!!

My posts have been recent, and infrequent, however..... Just back from the 200 mile trip, collectively me and those who travelled have spent over a grand watching some of the poorest footballing exploits I have ever seen! In optimism and pure blind faith, I expected some sort of desire and fight from our team tonight. What I witnessed was, men against boys, organisation v's disorganisation, and a team who wanted to win, v's a who hoped to win!! We are relegated, and it happens to our team, we will get promoted again, however.... How can the BOD seriously think fans won't get turned off? Without regurgitating everything that's been said on this forum.... Danny Lennon, TC, GT, selling KM, new signings not been played... Really what the fcuk is the deal with sanoupe??? Listening to the shite from cheesy about staying up this morning, only to get absolutely turned over by utter pish tonight!!?? I don't personally think GT is to blame, he should have served an apprenticeship before taking the reigns. This summer has to be our genesis, new owners, new manager, clear out of the team, start a fcuking again, and get us something to be excited about. There is absolutely no reason why Inverness, RC, Hamilton, St Johnstone, killie, dundee, etc should be so far ahead of us. Our club is in the state its in because of shite management from top to bottom, and unless we want to go the way of airdrie, Dunfermline, raith, then the BOD NEED TO GO BIG OR GO HOME!!! We are a shambles, youth is not producing, 1st team are not producing, BOD are not producing! Yes they may have invested in the past, but they aren't now, and while they are cutting back on output, we're still expected to financially input, it's not on, start again, and we can all get excited about SMFC's future!!

On that chain of thought, next two games in front of the cameras, so more of the same will do!

Ok, so 7 points adrift, 1 win at home, not scored in 3 matches, championship is looming. My brain says we're humped, county are on a better streak than Del Boy could have ever dreamed of, well have steadied the ship, and we are going the way of the titanic. The easy option is to join the band wagon and admit defeat. This isn't delusion, merely optimism, WBA 04/05 last day survival, West Ham 06/07 won 7 of last 9 from nowhere, 1-0 v arsenal, 1-0 v United. We have to win on Tuesday, and have to win a week on Monday, there is nothing went previously to suggest this will happen, but.... I firmly believe we have to take one game at a time, and rally for Tuesday night. As I've said previously, I'm taking a mini bus from Aberdeen, 20 strong to fir park, and getting behind the team. This is the heart ruling the head, but the hope of spinning what's left of this season, is far more appealing than a 5 year rebuilding Job in the championship!! Roll on Tuesday night and COYS

I've been to almost every game this season, we have been unlucky against Motherwell FACT!! Beat county when the backs were against the wall FACT! Either way, we are not in control of the board room shite that has gone on this season. I am taking my whole office in a mini bus, from Aberdeen to fir park in 15 days, and we are all gonna get behind the team!
