  1. When was the last time we won in the league? It is a league of average teams who are all inconsistent. They shared 5 goals, yes we lost, yes we can improve, but it was entertaining. That is what football is supposed to be. I do prefer us winning but l also watch the game to be entertained. A drink would have helped though..z
  2. I really enjoyed a lot of that game today. Again we could have done much better with the final ball but we were in game until the fourth goal. Defensively we are poor at the moment though. Thought Lyness could have done better with the third, but we could not clear our lines throughout and kept returning the ball to Well. more than willing to give Robinson time to get his new plans to gel and agree that it is taking too much time. However, first and foremost we must avoid the playoff position and our results see us in free fall at present whilst Fake Saints are on a run. Tinker after we secure our place for next season please, then rebuild your team So we can judge you then
  3. Disappointing all round today. Fantastic start and while we might have edged the first half, certainly in terms of half chances, real pressure and corners, our ball retention and passing was overall poor. Credit to United they changed things at half time and upped the pace. We folded. No outball, static movement, poor decision making, slack and at times awful ball distribution. We didn’t deserve anything from today, especially in second half. whether this was down to Robinson tactics, lack of form of many players, failing to adjust to new managers instructions or maybe a combination who knows. l won’t judge Robinson on the remainder of this season but l don’t like the way he suggests too often that the quality of player he has is the main problem. Managers need to be able to take some of the aggro after displays like today. as for the sending off l will be interested in highlights as didn’t look like it was deserved. As for over 6 minute of extra time- unamused. Why say 4 on the board? at the end of the day betteR team won. Motherwell game last chance to at least pressurise others for top six, but overall we haven’t done enough this seaso, especially at home.
  4. Defending needs sorting. Cracking game to which we made a huge contribution.
  5. If we can tighten up at the back and Jones can stay on his feet, we still have a chance
  6. This is a weakened Hearts yet we look very dodgy again at the back and while more in the game, no real clear chances. Early days of Robinson reign but we have lost something. It’s a cup game for God’s sake, we are losing anyway . Express yourselves and play some football
  7. Maybe we just look better on the telly, plus l never saw first half 🧐
  8. The better team throughout, great endeavour and some really good attacking play. Fantastic move for last minute goal and surely ends any real threat of a relegation fight. However, despite how the table looks evidence suggests we are bottom six. Do not pose sufficient goal threat that we can convert. Maybe next season. Still not been too bad. Don’t have much hope for Saturday but you never know
  9. Bottom six team. There is little between most teams, but we just do not score enough. Delivery not good enough, often enough. Main really not the answer, Brophy playing out of position. We are better with four at the back. Robinson needs to put stamp on team over next few months. Easy to criticise but came in at awkward moment and we must not forget we basically have had two decent runs of results and been difficult to beat , all season. We have some good players but still searching for a winning and consistent formula
  10. Need a big performance today. We are as good as them but need to prove it
  11. Maybe it’s just me, but despite the set up and the dominance of Celtic l thought that was the most positive performance by us at Parkhead, aside from last year’s victory last season, in a long time. We don’t score enough, we know that, that is the bigger concern with only two home games before split. Ross County on a roll so Saturday could be another hard shift. We tried.
  12. Good point yesterday even if Goodwin had still been in charge. It’s a difficult venue for all teams. Despite Dundee’s position in league , still a difficult tie and one we cannot take for granted. With regards speculation on next manager, have no time for debate on what people are like as players on the park. Coaching ability and potent management ability is all that counts. Not too keen on taking an untried coach in the circumstances, but ultimately we have a limited pot to choose from. For me main thing is not upsetting the apple cart for remainder of season. We are in a good position and would not want us to throw that away by a mass change in direction.
  13. Sorry to lose him, particularly at this stage in season and during this run. Not ideal. Wish him well. We need to get this appointment right. Would Jack Ross consider returning? Despite what happened during and after his departure you can only be loyal to the team you play for or manage. Would be a good shout. Or McManus and Langfield till end of season? What you don’t want is massive upset. Scott Brown surely too much of a gamble
  14. Great result, handled the end of the game very well. Good keeping helped but could easily have won 0-2. Overall very pleasing. Jordan Jones was excellent. Looking forward to next few games on back of this excellent run
  15. Forgettable match. Managed to throw away an undeserved victory. We move on. Won’t judge Jones on one game, but concerned about lack of strikers and weak bench tonight. How did that happen after a transfer window?
  16. Poor fare tonight. Long balls to no-one, passing poor. Motherwell marginally better and more likely to score. Injuries and reshuffle plus new players seems to have unsettled a settled team. Goodwin needs to talk things through at half time. Surely second half cannot be any worse???
  17. What a goal, fit to win any game, and just as well as only shot on target. However, we defended and managed that whole game very well. Aberdeen toothless up front but we kept them quiet. No failures tonight. An excellent result all round .
  18. First of all fantastic result, two great goals and a couple of other excellent moves. Second, the first time l have seen us enjoy such a biased referee help us the whole match to win a game. I suspect otherwise we would not have won this game, especially in the second half when we sat off them too much and invited trouble. However, great team performance although often not great to watch. Finally a shout out to the DUTV commentators for their array of hilarious comments and utter bias throughout. Highlights included ‘ l feel sorry for Hamilton and St Mirren fans having to watch this every week’, ‘It’s embarrassing the way these Saints players go down like sacks of spuds- Ken’. Obviously they haven’t seen many Tangerine performances down our way in recent years when sitting on a lead. important three points, especially with other results tonight. But with some sympathy to our commentating hosts, whilst l like the result, not to keen on paying to watch that type of display. Deep thanks to referee for his generosity to us this evening
  19. Would have bitten your hand off for a point from these two games. However, still pains me that we cannot produce more than one shot in an empty Ibrox. Yes the gulf in class is there for all to see, yes we avoided a hiding and that could be crucial at the end of the season, yes l get the COVID problems we have faced, but l do not accept we are more inept than Livingston or Dundee United and cannot give RAngers more of a game. We have only lost 7 games in the league, but won only three. A break now is important for so many reasons, but we are entering a crucial part of the season, one Goodwin needs to get right
  20. Adversity- what a way to galvanise a team. We rode our luck at times, but Lyness immense, Dunne great, Henderson did well, whole team stuck to the task and made life really difficult for Celtic. Great bonus point. Probably too much to ask again at Ibrox, but l salute all those lads out there tonight. Proud… very proud.
  21. It will be an embarrassment and an unforgivable decision by the league if we do actually have to field a severely weakened team tonight. Who actually is fit is subject to confirmation but it is unfair on all the other teams in the league if any game goes ahead where one is severely under strength due to a pandemic
  22. From the tweet earlier the suggestion is club are awaiting PCRResults tomorrow. That will determine availability and whether game goes ahead. Should be cancelled and an immediate winter break. I come out of self isolation tonight after catching COVID in the safest possible place you can be, according to the government- a school. This present strain is too easy to catch, it is not less easy to catch it in the stadium on Wednesday rather than Boxing Day. I had been contemplating going to a match in recent weeks, but this experience has confirmed to me that it just isn’t worth it. A second season of using a season ticket to watch from home. Maybe next season 😕😕
  23. I cannot reveal my source, but a grade or two up from the Jannie 🥷
