How do you loan out a player who has not been able to get into a first team to a club at a higher level? Think we need to be realistic about where he might go. However, maybe an opportunity for him to change his attitude and even maybe prove what others saw in him

Well we've managed to stay in touch with Hamilton and Dundee. Over to Oran, Gus and the board to make three or four effective signings and give us a realistic chance of staying in premiership

Sadly we are just not good enough or smart enough for this league. Physically bullied off the ball, poor at defending set pieces, unable to create many meaningful opportunities to score and when we do seldom make the keeper work. Confidence l am sure plays a big part but too many of our players are inconsistent wrk in week out. We weren't terrible today and we worked hard, but coupled with poor refereeing were outfoxed by a poor Hamilton. Not expecting a happy Christmas in paisley this year and fear January will not bring us adequate relief

If it means improved performances and results then all appointments are good

Second half was Fab-u-Lou's. cracking goals and cracking attitude. Hearts were quite poor but take nothing away from defence and rest of team. Same attitude next week please as will be a different game with accies being far more defensive. Going to enjoy Saturday night for a change

That was brutal. The lack of confidence certainly doesn't help but long balls into a big, stout Motherwell defence will have only one outcome. Magennis close to fitness as is eckersley. Heaton is going to be moved on, apparently on very hefty salary. All money brought in from mcginn sell on spent and wasted on Stubbs signings and getting rid of Stubbs. Kearney been left with huge job but not messing about. Big Mackenzie back in gym

Lots to be pleased about, particularly in first half where we pressed killie really well and limited them. Felt Ferdinand going off and decision to not use jones was problematic coupled with a significant increase in pace of the game which we couldn't cope with. For equaliser McPherson was caught in two minds and we sat too deep. It was a great goal but shouldn't have been given the chance. Midfield overrun second half, but we still had some good chances. Work in progress but thought switching defence around was a crucial error.

Brocks madsen sent back to Birmingham after unimpressive loan period. OK continues the clear out of duffers as transfer window approaches. Note McCann got boot from Dundee so this could be an additional worry for us.
