With Carson and Ayunga needing scans coupled with the transfer deadline looming, it will be interesting to see what our starting lineup might look like. On the plus side Baccus will be back. Aberdeen like ourselves have been much better at home, so this will be a difficult game. Would probably settle for the draw but 3 points would be massive.

When we lift the trophy in May, nobody will remember today's shite. Lets just see this as similar to the Hamilton game on route to the league cup win.

On the flip side, can we be as poor as that again? Over the 2 games against Hearts recently, we probably can think ourselves unlucky not to have had at least 3 points. I don't buy we are suddenly a poor team, although the lack of wins and poor finishing is concerning. We are in a very decent position in the league and still in the cup.

I'm hopeful of any positive result that will see us through, but have a feeling we might just click upfront tomorrow. 3-0 Saints.

Killie could have taken Celtic to extra time at the weekend if the guy in charge of VAR hadn't fallen asleep again, so its definitely not impossible to run them close.

Having watched the Killie semi final just there, its evident that some teams get decisions courtesy of VAR and some don't. Killie were denied a blatant penalty just as we were last night.

Should be looking to sign him up longer. Never put a foot wrong last, and that includes Hearts goal.

Shocking decision for the penalty. We've had 2 or 3 like that go against us this season. Thought we played really well tonight, 2nd half especially. Hearts were happy to slow things down. Deserved at least a point.

Would be tempted to get Ayunga on for Greive.

Having bought today's programme for the first time in many years, i must say it was a serious letdown. One solitary page inside was dedicated to the passing of legend Frank. Surely he deserved better than that. I suppose it serves as a reminder to why i stopped buying them- not enough Saints content and packed full of adverts.

Having seen Fraser's red card again, i think there's probably no point appealing it. Not sure he meant any malice, but can see why it was given.
