A few decisions have gone against us recently, so hopefully today we get the rub of green.
A Saints win.

I thought it was a shame that so much of last night's time was taken up by the negative sideshow, especially when there's plenty to be positive about.
-
Thought we were outstanding from start to finish today.
Daylight robbery that we never walked away with the 3 points.
Great start to the season.

Superb loan signing. Welcome back.

Good result for Aberdeen tonight. Do not think this game should influence Sunday much. Only a few hours away by plane.
They played well 2nd half but were poor in the first.
The sheep now have a pretty large squad, so can definitely see them rotate on Sunday.

To seriously and regularly compete at the next level we would need the income that a 14000 seater stadium and 10000 season ticket sales would bring as well as better development of the non-footballing facilities. .
Given the amount of relegations Hibs and Hearts have had in the last 25 years, this isn't a given.

Massive game this-a win and we're 8 points clear of Aberdeen.
Even at this early stage of the season that would be f'n marvellous.

Agreed we should increase the capacity to 10,000+.
The problem about 'spending on the team' is that money doesn't grow on trees - we need bums on seats first.
Catch 22 really.
Finishing top 6+ and the later stages of cup competitions helps generate cash.
Sell out the current stadium first and then possibly look at increasing.
No point in putting in more seats for them to be empty.

Think we need the corners filled and another tier on the main stand... take us up to 10k capacity
No point really just now. If we can sell out the home end regularly, then we should be looking at that. Spend on the team first and hopefully the need for more seats will increase with winning games( and cups) .

Agreed. When you think about it 7% of the catchment area are attending games. Today's attendance was brilliant for a cup game (with season tickets not valid) good time to be a bud.
Yeah totally.
I can see next Sunday's game being another decent crowd.

Not enough for a team of this quality and for a catchment area of well over 100,000+.
Too many armchair supporters, is also an issue.
St Mirren deserve better.
If we carry on the way we are currently, the crowds will increase even more than last seasons record breaking attendances at the new ground.
2nd in the league and a cup quarter final. As starts go, it doesn't get much better.

That went well. 🤣
60% for me - I would have been happy with that at school.
Unfortunately didn't win me any cash though.

Anyone know who scored?

Of course we do but Faraway & Munoz will cry if you point out their mistakes.

Interesting fact, or at least I found it interesting:
Motherwell are away to Dundee and then have Hibs at home, which is the reverse of our fixtures!
Another interesting fact - Motherwell haven't beaten us in cup competitions for 18 years.

Just thought that I would remind myself of what to expect. COYS
Winning more away games is the key , providing we carry on our half decent home form.

Pleased with that draw considering what we could have got.
Hopefully the clubs keep the ticket costs sensible.
-
Attacking lineup. Hopefully we'll see a few goals today.

The game is available on PPV if any non attendees are wishing to make a donation to the cause.
A bargain £12.
