  1. 5 of us travelling down from Aberdeenshire for this one. Morton fans on P&B not looking forward to the match - we can't wait !! COYS
  2. Got the last two pies - they were rank ! Which was the only disappointing thing about the visit to Nairn. Nice wee ground, friendly folk and I wish them well for the season ahead.
  3. Thoroughly enjoyed the match yesterday. While the opposition were not necessarily top drawer you still have to beat what's in front of you. There were plenty of good things to see - midfielders pushing up to support the front line and getting into scoring positions, as evidenced by the number of different scorers we had. But the biggest plus for me was the performance of Gregor Buchanan - he won absolutely everything in the air and, while his distribution needs a bit of work, I look forward to seeing him partner Gary when the season proper gets underway. I see that partnership being solid at the back with both posing a goal threat at the other end. Bring on Dundee. Also good to see most of our squad getting a run out. They all looked sharp. Special word of appreciation for Stelios, not only did he score a terrific goal, but he looked hungry and motivated as soon as he was brought on. I think he'll be a huge problem for opposition defences this season. At FT he came over to the travelling fans, shook hands, thanked the support and posed for selfies - maverick or legend ? Total gent. COYS !
  4. Brodie Country Fare for lunch, but they're full and we're in a big queue. Getting worried well miss ko. Why do we have to eat ??
  5. Family of five just about to head off on the short trip to Nairn. Cannot wait to see the Buddies again. Last match was home to Dumbarton. Next game likely to be Cappielow in August.
  6. Some interesting comments on Rory Loy from this Dundee forum: https://www.thedarkblues.co.uk/forums/topic/11932-rory-loy/?page=2#comment-206046 Hopefully JR is trying to bring him back.
  7. Can't make today's game and apparently faraway is in NY so I can't watch at his either, however, I will be there in spirit in not in person. hopefully div will be streaming on periscope - worked wonders last week. 2-1 Saints (Mallan, MacKenzie) COYS
  8. Sorry, not going to make it. Still to far away.. I know, I know, really bad - the pressure is getting to me
  9. It is good, unfortunately north Aberdeenshire doesn't count as overseas. Not sure why as it is a different world
  10. Totally gutted that I can't be there today - had to forego this match in order to go to Tannadice last week. Is someone doing periscope ? It will be a real nervous occasion for both teams but wilth a huge crowd backing the team, along with the drum, I believe we'll come out on top. Early goal to settle those nerves and we run out winners. 3-1 (Loy, Mallan, Stelio) Hardie with a late consolation for them COYS !!
  11. Home from AMS 11pm tomorrow night, plenty time for the trip to Dundee on Saturday - almost a home game from Aberdeenshire.
  12. That's how I see it too, meaning we need at least a point against United on Saturday.
  13. Sorry, it's just pre-match excitement. Agree, may not even get a slot on the bench.
  14. Good luck to all the Buddies fans who'll be at Falkirk this afternoon. After 9-hour round trips on consecutive Saturdays for the Ayr and Dumbarton matches I have to give this one a miss, however, look forward to joining a huge away support at Tannadice next weekend. 3-1 win (Mallan, Roy, Stellios), +2,000 visiting fans COYS !!
  15. Getting ready to head off from north Aberdeenshire. Long day but always great to see the Buddies playing, especially recently. Like a few others on here I think today will be very different from last week but hopefully we still get the win: 3-1 Saints (Loy, Smith, Mallan)
  16. 30mins til we set off from a very grey Aberdeenshire. Tickets in the West stand for a change and looking forward to the drum - cannot wait for this match. COYS
  17. Mallon and Morgan both playing well for U21s - watch live on YouTube
  18. Sounds like whatever they end up with, it's got to be a less than perfect solution, which must be good news for us.
  19. Anyone know if Raith have sorted their goalkeeping situation ?
