  1. No chance we’ll see McGrath tomorrow, but I’d like to think there’s a decent chance Quaner making the bench. Looking forward to the game though, as I have done for a few weeks running - strange times indeed being a Buddies fan these days. Not confident of a win but don’t think we’ll lose either, so likely be a draw. A point won’t be good enough but I’d take it in exchange for no more injuries !
  2. I’m hoping to see him come off the bench on Wednesday.
  3. I’d love to see Quaner play a part on Wednesday. Think we will win by a couple of goals.
  4. I agree that we need to win these next two games, but even if we don’t, it shouldn’t be a disaster as I think we’ll beat Accies away.
  5. Ok thanks. Good to get some positive news on the injury front.
  6. It was a great move and would have won the match if it had counted, but it does show the players do have it in them - just need to see it more often. And make sure it counts !
  7. Flynn and Connolly to start on Saturday with Cammy and McAllister on the bench.
  8. My worry is that Cammy and Ethan are not streetwise enough - much better with an experienced head beside them.
  9. Have we tried Erwin partnering Obika before ? I don’t remember.
  10. I’d love to see us put in a great performance and thrash them, but I’d take that scrappy 1-0 win right now !
  11. Two keepers - surely just to give Urminsky an opportunity to be involved with the 1st team on match day ?
  12. Must be a 4-4-2 formation. Not a bad starting lineup, but the bench is not looking as strong as it has done recently.
  13. I know it’s stating the obvious, but ..... First goal will be very important tonight.
  14. I feel surprisingly upbeat about this match. I know Accies are on the back of a couple of cracking results, but having watched the highlights, Well’s defence were all over the place in the first half and I don’t think we’ll play as badly as that. We do need to keep 11 players on the park though. 2-0 or 2-1 victory for us Obika and McAllister. COYS !!
  15. Really appreciate all the updates - sorry but have to confess I hadn’t realised it was tonight, so the postings were great. Yes, it is a good time to be a Buddie, both on and off the park. Apart from Rangers and perhaps Livi, I don’t think they will be any fans in the top league who are as pleased with their club as we are. Cue for it all going pear shaped against Accies on Wed ...
  16. I didn’t watch, but by all a points it really should have been postponed or abandoned because of the wind. Imagine if we’d traveled to watch that ....
  17. Excellent player, and certainly one for the future. Kicked on more than Cammy this season, which has been a pleasant surprise. Really glad he extended his contract. Ethan has a great future in the game.
  18. A win v Accies would be great for a number of reasons, but a draw (not losing) wouldn’t be the end of the world, especially given their performance and win today.
  19. I don’t recall many folks thinking we’d actually win today. More than happy with a point.
  20. I went for 1-1 beforehand and will happily settle for 0-0 and a point. Never a happy hunting ground for us.
  21. It’s always a hard game at Pittodrie, however, we did play very well in our last visit and were very unlucky not to get at least a draw. Hopefully we return to a back four for this match. Will Brophy be available ? And will we see Collin ? Even if they are both fit, I still see Obika starting as a lone striker with McAllister behind him. Not confident of a win, but I do believe we’ll see a better performance than last night which should be sufficient to bring home at least a point.
