Certainly looks as if he is relatively mobile too, which is a bonus.
It's also worth remembering that, on Sunday, he'll be up against arguably, the second best defence in the league, so it might be worthwhile not writing him off after one game!

Gets into a great position at 4.44 to have a pop at goal.
And his work at 4.50 to set up the chance that he himself attempted at 5.01 was good.
Remember, this is top flight Dutch football. A far better standard than what he's coming to.

£40K (if true) is some bit of business for a guy who has only made a handful of appearances above League 1 level. County have a lot of strikers on their books too, so he may not even be a regular starter.

I'd have been happy enough for him to stay (maybe go out on loan again), but if he doesn't feature in the manager's plans, best all round that he gets this move.

Was only in Poland for 3 months and didn't really get a chance: 9 of his 11 appearances were from the bench.
He had a good season before in Holland's top league: 7 goals in 20 starts for a team (Zwolle) who narrowly avoided relegation is not bad.

Good business by Stubbs, kind of player we’ve been needing for a number of seasons - infact perhaps since Michael Higdon left 7 years ago! Let’s hope it’s as good a signing on grass as it is on paper, although given the jump between being a below average English Championship player and decent Scottish Prem player i’d hazard a guess he’ll do alright.

I am not sure why people are subdued about this signing.
This guy scored 7 goals in 23 appearances in the top league of Dutch football. All of his clubs are at a much higher level than us.
He will tear this league a new arsehole if he has the right attitude and gets good service.

They signed him four years ago and he has played six games in that time, being punted out on loan twice (now three times). His goalscoring record has been far from impressive and at 25 I don't think they see him as one for the future.
His track record isn't great but if he does buck that trend and score a shedload of goals then losing him in January will be a nice problem to have!

The big man will score on Sunday 100% certain on that.
