  1. Is LordPityMe really a smisa board member? God help us!
  2. you would think so, instead of the shop seen as an asset with revenue raising potential it is seen as a burden. The shop in its present format earns the club nothing, i wouldnt be surprised if it actually costs the club money in heating/electricity etc.
  3. the club shop earns the club nothing, at least with Carrs the club get a payment, the arrangement with the shop would put mike ashley to shame.
  4. You think it's bad now, just wait till full fan ownership!
  5. It's obvious that it was the smisa cleaning team that has suggested that the plaques be removed as they are not permanent features. It will probably be them who do the removal. If you want a permanent feature then buy a brick mate.
  6. In what way was that a good interview? The interviewer never pressed him on anything, it was an exercise in pointing out the obvious.
  7. Well done to all involved, how about dealing with the dug shite along the length of Murray Street next?
  8. 'moved on' as in now a club director?
  9. Didn't notice anything except parked cars which I would expect to find in a car park. What did I miss?
  10. No apology with regards to the swearing and shouting you were subjected to?
  11. Is that correct though? I'm sure I read somewhere that one of the committee members on the fans council will be on the new board of directors. Can you clarify that one as it goes against what you said above?
  12. Not a good start treating the support like idiots. Hope Tony is smart enough to realise he has to do the boards bidding whilst trying to keep the fans onside.
  13. Don't go giving the board a reason to look like the victims in this sellout. They are more than happy to shit over their own supporters without pressure from others.
  14. Doesn't surprise me at all, the fans council just seem to me to be used by the club as an extention of the marketing dept. The fact this decision was made without even running it past the fans council says all you need to know about their place within the club and the attitude held by the board.
  15. Let's be clear here, the police don't run football clubs. The board are 100% responsible for this decision. The club could quite easily have limited the away tickets to 2000 and the police would have been happy.
  16. He means 'fans' will have an emotional attachment to the club and will probably end up as they always do and back the club financially. Whereas 'customers' do not and would withdraw their support by going to another supplier. You have to be a real fan to get it
  17. And he will offer no apology but will attempt to justify the boards decision. Perhaps the fans representatives, the fans council, will have the baws to confront the board over this? Very much doubt it.
  18. No chance, the blame for this decision lies squarely with the board. The police have no power to order any club to open/close stands without a court order or uefa sanctions.
  19. Only if there are clubs down south that are interested. If mallan is sold to another Scottish club then there's no chance of 6 figure transfer fees.
  20. Can't understand why they couldn't afford him, St.mirren hardly sell their assets on for big money.
  21. Every post you have made on this thread is laying blame on the police. Can you explain why as I don't see how the police are to blame for a business decision made by the club. If anything the police would be against the extra support coming to Paisley surely? The club have likely contacted the police and informed them of their decision and that the police would have to get extra resources in at the club's expanse. Really can't see how the police are at fault. The police don't have the right to cancel events due to who a person supports. Genuine query btw as I may be missing something.
  22. Both stands behind the goals to be crammed full of ****? Might as well not turn up, it's a money making exercise and not a sporting event.
  23. I think any Paisley publican would be more than happy getting 70 punters in on a mid-week night.
