I wasn't sure if appeal would be dealt with before it, but if we put it in he is allowed to play or not. I also wasn't sure if he was on the bench as we have f**k all players and he had a still to recover fully,

McCarthy came on for about 25 minutes against Kelty last week, but not sure if he's played much before since recovering from injury.

Suspect he'll be fine, but a little rusty over 90 minutes if he plays from the start on Wed.

All depends on whether we appeal or not

  2. Names like McCann, MacKay, McInnes have to be on our list.

Rumour a foreign manager is booked in to watch our game against Dee.... is he being interviewed too?

Cannot see why we would take Brown and help both JG and the Dons budget... let them keep paying the wages of an injured past it player...one who helped coach then to below us, despite much larger player budget...

  3. There will be a longer list of potential candidates than the fans know or expect. Ok, some will be longer shots than others.

However, if Brown is a possibility for us, why did the Dons not take that punt?  They saw his coaching, training, personality etc. Each week and many people believed he was a future manager for them in waiting.

Hi, my name is Matthew Muir and I am studying journalism at City of Glasgow College.

I have published an article about potential candidates for the St. Mirren job, if any Buddies would be interested in reading.

    Thanks :)

Danny Lennon and Kevin Thompson are non starters in this race.

The players are professionals who hopefully want to win every game. I can't see there being much change to the shape or recent starting lineup tomorrow.

I do agree though, this is a distraction especially the longer it goes on. With any luck its done and dusted tomorrow.

McManus will use this to drive them on tomorrow and against Dee.  We're on the brink of 4th, it's the same players and we have great leaders on the park

What a pile of shite. Do you honestly think at a managerial interview an applicant starts doing deals never mind starts doing deals for players his previous club have zero control over. Why make shite like that up ?

If you read my post you'll see I was admitting that I was only scripting this from the boredom of waiting... I never thought for a minute folks would be so gullible to read that as fact... very few people will be party to the contract details and even those they do share it with are not very likely to broadcast it

  7. So JG personal terms agreed.

Agreed terms to bring in Lee Sharp.

Agreed terms to bring in Alnwick and Langfield in the summer (if they are willing to sign for them)

Agreed terms to get JJ if he wants too.

Still resolving signing policy, budget, so it doesn't alter after he's manager all of a sudden And Brown's future up in the juggling too...

    Ok.... I'm just bored waiting...

Could be an overnight now, concluding tomorrow...?

Just hope we grasp the points in these next two matches... then it'll be brighter than all this junk....
