  1. Aye he started off well, scored a hat trick for them against Partick and was a regular starter. Then McKinnon signs a couple of number 10s and Smith is relegated to the odd sub appearance, hence the reason we've taken him back. Hope he helps you kick the piss out of the arabs next time you play them.
  2. Smith is a capable player that just needs game time. He is really a number 10 or a striker, would not play him on the wings as he's murder there. Dundee Utd kinda screwed him over so I hope he'll get more of a look in with you lot.
  3. No, but at least you've seen enough sense to bench Clangers before he can do any more damage.
  4. Storie is very much in the last chance saloon for us. He's failed to impress in the few appearances that he's had and appears to have stopped trying in the development league. That being said he was once a highly rated prospect and was pursued by Man Utd, so it's possible, and we're hopeful, that he'll get himself back on track with you guys. He's certainly got a nasty streak in him, which your midfield probably could do with, and he's not bad going forward either. All the best.
  5. Shankland won't be kept. Would not be surprised to see him sign for you guys permanently. He's unfortunately just not good enough for AFC. All the best.
  6. Hi Folks, I'm a dandy coming in peace since you're linked with two of our players.. You are correct in saying that Langfield, or "Clangers" as we call him, is not popular with the vast majority of fans. On top of him trying to engineer a move to the old ****, he's frustrated people with his inability to kick a ball, deal with pass backs, come for crosses or save a ball at his near post. He requested his own testimonial and the low turnout is definitely representative of how Aberdeen supporters feel about him. Is he good enough for the Championship? Yes - I'd give him a 1 yr deal and source someone better once you come back up. As for Shankland, we're praying that it's a loan and not a permanent move. Shankland is highly rated by the fans here and has shown great promise as a striker. He's kept out of the team by Rooney and a currently on form Goodwillie, but there's definitely a quality player there. Unfortunately for him he just hasn't quite taken the chances he's been given with the first team here but the general feeling is he just needs game time and first team experience. Good luck in your campaign this year, I'd like to see you and hibs come back up. All the best!
