Well, who could be surprised after such a dismally disappointing transfer window when we missed out on our number one target KVV, it's understandable that we played appallingly today and clearly we're heading for a stick-on bottom 6 spot, and ..., erm, um ..., oops, oh dear, my bad  !!

In my lifetime going to Easter road, that  is the best performance I have witnessed , magnificent result. super saints.

You watched the same game as me sir,  his passing in that game was better than I've seen while playing for us 

I watched the whole game and he was miles better than 5/10.  I was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable he looked at that level, not just breaking up the play, but also how he used the ball, not something we necessarily associate him with us. He was heavily involved in the starting of a lot of the good stuff that Australia did going forward and they were very unlucky not to get something out of the game, albeit that it was a friendly. 
Agree he can be hot and cold with us but he is capable of playing at a higher level.

Could be a good Korea move for the young man . 

He is definitely the kind of player we have been missing this season.  His anchoring of the midfield and passing allowed others to play with a bit more endeavour.  Is the celtic loanee of the same ilk?  If so we should show some improvement in the next few weeks.

I met the guy who has him on his books earlier  this year and he said not very complementary things about him, not his ability but more where his head is, so possibly that’s why he didn’t get much game time and why he’s gone.

Gogic plays at international level in defence. He has proven to be one of our best players since he joined us. 
His time at Hibs as a midfielder was not very successful.
I think he does a great job in defence but is also great cover in midfield when needed. 
We are likely to lose Baccus to the Asian cup (or perhaps a move during the January transfer window) that may well open up an opportunity for Robbo to move Gogic to midfield. 
Robbo has my support to do what is right by the team. 
I would certainly like to see Gogic contract extended. I believe he is out of contract at the end of the season. I’m not sure whether he would be keen to sign as he might still have a desire to move back home.

I hope we also get a decent central defender to boss Taylor & Dunne and release Gogic back to the middle of the park.  All areas of the team will work better with AG back in midfield.  O'Hara in particular seems to be missing AG as back-up and if we can get A O'H back on form then the rest of the team should spark up nicely again.

That’s nice to hear, but I’d like to hear a little less conversation and little more action - see what he can deliver on the pitch.

After non league Aldershot beat D2 leaders Stockport County in the cup last night, their manager praised the teenage, gifted lads he had flooded his team with.
They’d all been picked as yoofs, trained thoroughly in big club academies then - for one reason or another - never got the chance to break into the big time, be stars.  He suggested they may now have grit, determination and hard graft as part of their skill set now added to their natural fitba qualities.
 

Well, he has given credit to Ferdinand for bigging up St Mirren.

I was reading an article about some of these academy players at the big clubs. One in particular at Everton was earning over £100,000 per annum at 16 and never made a top flight appearance. These guys get huge signing on fees at age 14/15 just to join these EPL clubs. 
The situation with some of these players is I guess they get a bit too comfortable with the lifestyle and think they have made it.
Some notable examples from Everton have gone right off the rails resulting in drug abuse and jail time. 
If St Mirren can help these players get their careers back on track then it’s a win win for both sides.
