I am fortunate being retired I have some disposable income My wife and I love it ,and Wee Johnny is chuffed that as well as his own season ticket he has his own membership card. Its very pleasant and I'm sure soup will warm us up on a cold winters day,plus the fact we can sit till 2.50 and then go to our seats. Not many clubs have players ,directors and the owners (Gordon Scott) as customers. Some players come in after the game also,which is great for the Kids,in this day of closed training sessions etc it's important to have this interaction The important thing is that the money from this goes to the club. It will be better as we get to know more lads and lassies as the season goes on. We moved from the west stand to main stand this season and as I have restricted mobility so it's just down and in the first turn style and no long walk. I have a carer season ticket so on occasion my son in law can come with his boy if my wife doesn't feel like it. In fact he drove us down last time and he sat and thought,'I like this idea ,a few beers ,watch the game more beer ,and taxi home', I read with interest about Dumbarton fans not getting in to their home support only bar till the turnstiles opened ,their excuse was health and safety that too many fans were mingling in the foyer with the good and great. Not all clubs are as welcoming as St Mirren

Let's get this straight ,probably the worst Airdrie team I've ever seen. Having said that ,there was a lot to be happy about ,Reilly and Smith never game defenders a minutes peace. Stelios was great and McGinn and McShane rule the roost in midfield. Gary Mack was lucky not to be sent off ,he kept barking on at the officials after being booked Morgan is a special talent and showed it all today,leaving defenders trailing in his wake. Nice to see guys getting a chance like ,Kirkpatrick had a shot I think on the volley,superbly taken. Bucky and Stewart did themselves no harm either. Sammy was alert and made a few cracking saves,Irvine was much better in his favoured position. Apart from a couple of misplaced passes was solid I feel a lot better about next Saturday now,it will be hard but not impossible no doubt the usual greeting faces will be on telling me I'm talking shite,

We've moved to the main stand so anyone in the west looking for me. Good seats just along from the away dug out,where's Ian McCall when you need him,I'm sure some other managers will be entertaining
