I’m sorry but is it just me, I get the feeling we just piss about and at the last minute grab anybody available (usually nobody else wants).

If i've said it once i'll say it a million times, what is the point in Gus McPherson's role?

Yeah. That will be one hell of a title race this season. Wouldn't fancy playing whoever comes second in a playoff, either. 10th or higher is vital this season. 

Don’t see anything wrong with the post. We do practically need a new team, we’ve lost Popescu, Muzek, McAllister, Nazon and could be about to lose Hladky. S McGinn is starting to look like he’s coming to the end of his years with us, Mackenzie won’t last a season (never does), Bairds a liability, Erhahon shouldn’t be anywhere near the St Mirren first team and our strikers are good subs at best .
In short we are in as much of a mess as this time last year

2 centre forwards, left and right winger, a centre half (possibly even 2), a left back and full back cover are needed.
I still make us 7 or 8 bodies short.

Would still love to know why Gus was in Spain wearing training gear and Tony as well...what the fuk were they doing there when should have been at home looking for signings...

Midfield been poor. Second to every ball. Lack of ideas. No energy. Not covering. Erahon not having his best game. Goodwin has a big job ahead of him here.Chris Sutton will be loving this

I can't envisage Ethan Erhahon as a footballer in any shape or form. 

Spot on. Popescu, Hodson, Muzek, Duck, Drayer, Mc Allister even Simeon all way better than this squad. Stripped completely of talent.

It's awful to watch but it is effectively pre season and we look unfit and well off pace. League cup again seems too early for us not helped by biannual changes of manager

Two new players at least for me to see. Players perhaps being played in new formations. New managerial direction. Fringe players maybe getting a shot. New season. Fresh start.

If we're not going to look forward to the first competitive game of the season we may as well chuck it.

I quite like the idea of the football team I support bringing in a new signing. In particular a strong tall striker.
