Yardley(19) and lavety (16) scored 35 goals between them in season 99/2000 and we haven't seen a strike force like that since. so bring on the heavy weights.

Maybe if they had a chance at full time football. training 5 days a week and a pre season coming up they may excel.only way we would find out is if we take the gamble and with them scoring goals they at least have the basics and they know we're the net is.

Ok we don't seem to do well producing striker.but you wonder how teams like peterhead seem to have an abundence of strikers who are banging in goals.are we to slow at spotting talented forwards.

That's true about the midfielders and defenders just fustrating that we can't produce equal quality strikers. but I would like to see us at least pick up a younger striker.i didn't think much of Clarkson last season.also will never know if Shankland needed half a season under Murray to get going.

there must be a decent striker coming through our youth academy the last one I can remember that got a chance was Thomas riley we need younger players on longer deals.not 30+ strikers for a season.
