paul torfason reacted to FTOF in Saints v Shellic rescheduled. Again.
DJC posted on P&B that the club apparently made £100K by having 8000 extra ppv's for the green bigot game.

Still trying to get my head around the fact that the last time we won at Celtic Park I was still living with my parents and hadn't left home yet.
Here's a wee bit of nostalgia....
Oasis were still a few years away from forming.
The Berlin wall had only just come down.
Maggie Thatcher was still in power.
English teams were banned from all European competitions.
Take That hadn't started.
There were only 4 TV channels and you had to watch what and when they decided.
Sky TV wasn't a thing yet.
Elton John had only just had his first UK number 1 with Sacrifice.
Freddie Mercury was still alive.
Most offices had a shared computer.
Mobile phones were not widely in use. If you broke down in your car, you either flagged someone down or walked to a nearby town for a public payphone.
The Maastricht Treaty which caused the Brexit stuff was still two years away.
There was no minimum wage.
Average starting wage for a fresh graduate in engineering was about £10k to £13k in London.
Monthly rent for a one room in a shared house in London was £250 to £300 including bills.
Average house price in the UK was £58k.
My friend bought a 2 bed mid terraced house in west London for £60k. That same house is now over £400k.
It was a completely different world altogether.

I'd play 2 up front against this mob. If we go and defend we will get humped. Have a go against them. It worked for Livi. Twice.

Celtic are 4/11, St Mirren 7/1 with the draw offering 15/4.
TBH it really depends what team Goodwin sends out.

Foley hasn't kicked a ball for us all season and has been nothing short of woeful in midfield.
Flynn I agree with. He has been on the bench for weeks and should have taken part way before United game.
For me Flynn is our best player in midfield and that includes Doyle-Hayes.

Think this was the last time. Also in Dundee.

We scored 5 away from home in the following game too, but that was away to Airdrie in the Cup.

Watched game:even when said a wasn't going to:but this love is forever lol:reminded me of one of my first away games at tannadice when Keith Walker,George shaw,Paul Chalmers and someone else scored to win 4-1 a think?night and day today compared to Sunday: Flynn was absolutely brilliant but whole team was good if only we played that team and formation and tactics on Sunday but enough of that: well done buds now same attitude against bigot brothers on Saturday please

Surely this is not always the annual answer to our problems - ie. January transfer window panic signings.
I would rather see us get the best out of the squad we have (barring injuries) and by finding and fielding our best formation.
It's an important part of the manager's job to motivate and build up the players he has.
Do the supporters not deserve an explanation as to why the 2 'F's are not getting a chance to prove or establish themselves when it is clear to most people that we need more experience in the midfield.
It is also obvious to most of us that we will not get the best out of Brophy by playing him as a single striker.
We have only occasionally shown an attacking style to our play and created a lot of scoring opportunities. So perhaps it is the system/formation/coaching that's at fault rather than the personnel.

Bet he starts Mason on the left, McAllister on the right and Erwin thro the middle !!!!
Maybe pop Sheron back into midfield to top it off

For first time in 40 odd year a honestly couldn't give a shit about arabs game:sick of Goodwin: sick of absolute anti football, sick of no shots on goal and sick that he cannot be honest and tell us REAL reasons behind Flynn and Foley not getting on park, because if it's to piss them off so they leave or are they one game away that automatically means they got clause in contract meaning extra season kicks in:tell us fans the truth as a said before if we started Flynn n Foley we would be in a cup final and our last 4 league games we have been horrendous and brutal on the eye so wouldn't expect any more changes to team as this is the guy that sent out same team for 2nd half against Livingston after one of the worst performance ever without making a sub or subs:time is running out for Goodwin and rightly so

What about Foley just sitting in front of back four just spreading ball about and stopping and setting up play in a Tommy Turner role??

That has potential but it’s not a million miles from the role JDH has been playing so would involve a change of role for him.
After the last few games I’m all for a change.
