I would have taken him too. Cody Cooke was due to go on loan but knocked it back.  Apparetly his injuries are down to not being fit enough for our level of football. 

Heard today that Kris Boyd was a done deal but it fell through at 9.30 on deadline day. Clarke pulled the deal after an injury to Broughie

Hard to judge this game. Dallas ruined it. We competed well and have improved but Tansey is not the answer for me. Very impressed by Hladky. His distribution is good and looks solid. Muzak also looks quality. Our foreign players look way better than what we had. Still need more steel in the middle. Lyons and Dreyer had good first halves but faded a bit. I would have brought on McAllister. The Duck also looks promising he could be a good partner for Jackson. Jackson played his heart out again but needs more support. 

There is definitely still interest in a few folk as contracts are getting cancelled etc. 1 more in wanted so there must be funds . . .

There may be a Hammill or Ferdinand out there so I would hope we could still do more business. Would still like the centre of Midfield strengthened

Whatever the percentage is, we've brought in more players than I expected that's for sure.
Think the injuries to Hodson and Rogers forced that a bit. The cup victory will have added a few quid to the coffers and the loss of the Chipper wage will have helped too.
Either way, this year we are going to record a thundering loss in the accounts

McGinn and Tansey not good enough in the middle.

In terms of chances created we definitely looked better than we have been. 
Centre of the park is still soft as shite though. It's where we absolutely should be strengthening. 

Kicked out of the game in the first 15 minutes by Stevie Mallan, not Scott Brown or Darian MacKinnon but wee Stevie Mallan. We really need a physical player in the middle of the park because we are too ‘nice’ to play against.

We dont have a midfield that can dominate a game. McGinn is not goid enough. He allows players to cut through us. Not captain material. We need a proper centre mid player.

Jackson and Lyons have both been excellent. 

With players coming in from europe they will be technically better than what we could get from Scotland. Just need to gel a side and get a couple more in to see us through.
