Like any recruitment 'strategy' you're spot on time will tell and I hope they make me eat my words ... it just inspires no confidence when folk on here think advertising for players on LinkedIn is 'innovative' .. maybe just highlights where we are just now

potential talent ?? This is an advert for senior UK pros who are on a free!! Surely you would expect your management team to at least have a fair idea who these folk are already ?? This isn't about finding a Bojan or a messi .. this is an advert for a UK journeyman??

Yeah I'm sure Luis Enrique is on there asking around to see if anyone has spotted a new Messi ...... I'd love to see that advert if you can dig that out? if you think this is a professional way to go about signing players then we have very different views on it

Sorry ..I missed that , apologies I agree, I think this is amateur hour from Fowler and highlights that he and Ross are scraping the barrel in terms of contacts and a 'network' .. it's just poor form and not what any professional club should be doing to get players in

At least he's looking ?? Seriously ?? surely a manager should lay out some sort of strategy for the club moving forward when he gets interviewed by the board ? ... that can't be 'I'll stick an advert out and see what happens' this isn't a request for gig tickets or selling a sofa .. this is about our management team hopefully having some sort of network already to know who IS available in the positions they identified BEFORE they started ? Not some amateur hour advert on some business network site .. I find this totally depressing

Just when I was down .. it got worse Our assistant manager advertising for 'senior pros who are free agents' on LinkedIn.. really ??! Is this the extent of Ross and Fowlers strategy and contact list ? I despair .. this kind of thing I would expect from a boys club team .. not us And that's not even mentioning that we are supplementing a team of poor senior pros with potentially more !! .. what's going on ? :0(

This is worrying .. dire I said I'd take fullarton over Ross as I'd hope he could at least organise a defence. 30% possession and not one shot on goal never mind on target I'll still give my support to Ross ....but a dead cat would bounce .. I've seen nothing to show any sort of reaction apart from a negative one tonight we look like a gang ...not good

That'll start with the new manager ....there needs to be some long term planning about the structure and how we progress back to where we should be ...I know most folk are looking at the right here and right now but we cant just plan for this season, even if folk are panicking cos were bottom.

Yeah I meant Freedman had him at Palace , then Bolton and after Lennon came in at Bolton ...Freedman took him to Forest?

I thought they had a good rate of getting youth into the first team at Bolton ? And arsenal bought one of their kids recently too? Not sure about any rumours but Freedman seemed to trust him with his youth set up at three championship clubs so he must have something about him.? Hey , if he has a bad name in the game he won't get the job .. people would know the score with the these things I would expect. on the face of it he seems to have done the graft but who knows
