  1. Thankfully. It's all well and good slagging them off for terrible organisation but you wouldn't want a handful of idiots from either side potentially ruining it.

Very good point, I already decided against taking my 12 year old daughter and am going on my Tod, but nobody needs any trouble of any sort, it's going to be a highly charged day, warm and drink will be taken, let's just hammer them (on the park) then get out of there!!

    Naan o that please!
    Tikka break!

The best thing about the signing is Jack Ross clearly showing intent to attack attack attack.

    We will lose goals.

We will put pressure on the defence.

There might be calamities along the way.

But ffs buckle in... This season is going to be one helluva ride and is so full of promise.

As long as he Dhalevirs........or we'll all be Sari.......

  3. Austin in the Papers today saying he should have dived and cheated for a penalty when Gary Mack got close to him in the Box.
After the match he was told by fellow players that he should have fell down.
No doubt, Hippo, Loy and Miller were those advisors
Austin suggested he would dive next time.
    Cheating Cnuts

They are truly unbelievable for it, they make me sick.
  4. A wee bit of rose-tinted glasses this morning. Stelios did spend a lot of time rolling about after the elbow in the face; Sutton did go down easily and we took forever to get the ball back and take  throw-ins when we were 3-1 up and they still had 11 men on the park. Just sayin [emoji4]

Fair point indeed, we were not daft either yesterday when it came down to it, I guess with Falkirk is that its something they've been at for seasons and the lad Hippolyte was shocking for it when he played at Livi.

  5. I agree, Livingston did likewise a few weeks ago with regards to time wasting. It's not nice to see and maybe something that the officials need to take action on? There are teams (like Falkirk) that are good at it and Houston has his players pushing the threshold of what is FairPlay and what constitutes cheating. The ten minutes you mentioned, correct. However, after going a goal up Falkirk did everything in the book to ensure they frustrated Saints and not to let us back into the game. I believe that backfired on them as they were on top and could have killed the game in the opening twenty minutes, if they had focused on their game rather than stopping us play.

Very true, they could have sunk us in that first 20 / 25 minute spell. I really don't think they (Falkirk) can help themselves with their antics.

  6. Sutton went down outside the Falkirk box to win a free kick in the second half, no one touched him.
I don't see anything about that being mentioned.
It happens in every game and with every team.

I agree with your point 100%, however Falkirk are particularly 'streetwise' shall we say, they dive a lot and are very savvy, their time wasting antics after their goal (in the first ten minutes of the game), were shocking, the certainly stopped it after our second goal.

So glad we beat them yesterday!!
  7. Starting along with Reilly perhaps.

Indeed, or in the shorter term as an impact sub, the little flashes I saw last week shows at times an awkward and raw forward but also presently with good awareness that causes problems in the oppositions penalty area, I think with the right coaching and hard work this could be another of Jack's gems.
  8. There was 11 hopeless performances in that starting side yesterday and you choose to highlight the young guy who was only brought into the team as cover because of suspensions. He was far from the worst player in the side,  Gavin Reilly and Ian Mcshane are experienced players and both were horrendous yesterday,  I'd be alot more worried about them than a young boy who's trying to kick start a career in football.

Got to agree with the last part of this post, with the exception of our captain I saw no fight or dig from the team, we were all over the place yesterday, thistle simply blew us away (particularly in the first half).

I am a bit worried as based on that yesterday 'streetwise' teams such as Falkirk and Dundee United could potentially do the same to us if we don't get our act together.

For me that was as bad yesterday as QOS at home back in January.
  9. Hi, not knowing the specific design but the previous posters point is a good one, perhaps the joiner could manufacturer a plinth which you could screw the bottom to then glue the top onto, there are some very very strong glues on the market right now.
