  1. they are doing okay, even Steven Game to me, it wouldn't surprise me to see them equalise......................at least
  2. always wanted 100 not our personally, but yea, loved Parky
  3. I don't primarily blame the clubs and I do understand this is not Engerland with their gazillions of tv cash, clubs here have to be practical and community focused, and yes Astro-turf pitches do help in that sense, but as far as the top league is concerned, if a club has the desire to play in it; then it's grass or you are not in, simples.
  4. yes, have to agree much as goal line tech should be here, more to the point plastic pitches shouldn't, in premier grounds.
  5. agree wholeheartedly, I WITHIN THE NEXT FIVE YEARS ASTRO WILL BE OUTLAWED FOR PREMIER LEAGUE FOOTBALL SAME AS IN ENGERLAND, WE NEED LESS ASTRO, NOIT MORE
  6. Yes, I realise that, but I just felt the need to vent. In my opinion; it makes us look like a seaside league if truth be told, not only does it clearly give an unfair advantage to the home team..........unless you are Kilmarnock or Livingstone playing at t'others ground, but it causes injuries that would not happen on grass pitches, so again purely for health and safety reasons, should be banned. Apologies for ranting on, it's a bugbear of mine
  7. it clearly says "incompetent set of administrators (being polite) we have, that run Scottish football," and more specifically defines " allow premiership football games to be played on worn-out plastic grass from B & Q." as the medium played on and the particular league concerned.. I understand and appreciate that many teams in the lower leagues need to use plastic pitches as a matter of economics and practicality and see no problem with that, I am simply concerned that we should never have allowed them in the top division.
  8. I agree entirely with your views re the game and am extremely glad to see you highlight what an incompetent set of administrators (being polite) we have, that run Scottish football, and allow premiership football games to be played on worn-out plastic grass from B & Q. It truly makes us a laughing stock if teams choose not to have a grass pitch then they should be barred from entry to the premier league.
  9. always liked Grieve, just seemed he was consistently a yard short but a grafter, I thought Olusanya a waste of space, playing naive schoolboy chase the ba fitba, but clearly, I know feck all, he was superb today, and made chances out of being a pain in the arse, so, very glad to be proved wrong, long may he continue in this vein
  10. yea and someone telt me they saw you doon the chippie
  11. surely is, he makes Elvis look reasonable.
  12. no denying that, but from my memories of watching him, the lad had talent
  13. to be fair olysanya isn't to bad either, keeping at it
  14. of course the other option would be that he ' would seem the one with some, possible potential, really' .............. perhaps!!!
  15. the consensus on P&B IS Pressley, which of all the options that I have heard, would seem the one with some real potential, possibly
  16. I think I saw about ten minutes of the second half; plus about twenty or so of the first half, Olysanya was dire, headless chicken is the best description he looked like an eager schoolboy at a trial, running after everything but catching very little, sorry but I can't see a footballer there., Taylor in defence was not great either given the limited time that I viewed, he had lots of misplaced passes and just didn't look confident, I do like Grieve; but he is ineffectual without a boisterous target man, much to lightweight to force the issue without support. The rest of the game was so broken up between black screens, slow motion and Keystone cops speed t was difficult to comment on others, but a poor showing surely.
  17. absolutely stopped a dozen ties in first half, several times for two minutes or more, probably watched about 25 minutes of the game, it is atrocious
  18. of course the fact that I logged on an hour early, might JUST have had something to do with why there was no access.................Doh!!!
  19. bought game through Morton ap, damn thing wont play little ring just spinning only a £5 but still conned
  20. You have to admire the lad and his agents, all of whom literally put their money where their mouth was; to get the deal done, credit where due and his attitude seems admirable, this lad really does have my best wishes moving forwaed.
