  1. Vanzy did get abot 30 seconds against Hearts so I guessed that was his finale. Good luck you'll be missed.
  2. I will wear some tartan on Saturday. R.I.P. Buddie
  3. No one's beaten Celtic yet this season and we don't win many games......2-1 to us then!
  4. Hope he stays until the end of the season but he's been poor lately.
  5. It was good to see our highest attendance was not against Celtic last season. Its a good move to Jan. 2 but nothing suits all. I get more pissed off when games get moved to suit Sky. We lost out big style against Aberdeen. They would have filled the North Stand on a Saturday. Overall this season quite a few clubs have brought better than usual supports meaning that team in Govan aren't missed at all in terms of our average attendance.
  6. The Belfast Cowboy deserves that freedom but smiling? no, he doesn't know how. Astral Weeks, Moondance, St Dominics Preview, Into The Music & Veedon Fleece. Everyone a classic. He's been essentially rerecording the same album for years now but if he got a decent producer in like Rick Rubin or Ethan Johns I think there could be another classic in him.
  7. There was no more influential band than The Velvet Underground. His solo career was excellent in places too and Metal Machine Music was the ultimate fu c k you to his record company ( and fans). He liked to keep it simple. My favourite quote of his is "One chord is fine, Two you're pushing it, three you're into jazz"
  8. R.I.P. Kevin I remember seeing him at the games. Sad loss.
  9. Actually the name is familiar. I worked with a Lee Hammerman few years back. Morton fan. Mind you even now he wouldn't be an Old Boy. Maybe its his Dad. Sent from my GT-I8190N using Black & White Army mobile app
  10. I've got a Toffs version of the 1970 top. That and last seasons home top are the best ever. Worst? The Bib of course. Sent from my GT-I8190N using Black & White Army mobile app
  11. The Stones last great album was Exile in '72 but there has been loads of great tracks since including last year's Doom And Gloom. Born To Run is possibly my favourite album but I'm not much of a Springsteen fan these days. Sent from my GT-I8190N using Black & White Army mobile app
  12. How dull are Mumford And Sons? In contrast last nights headliners The Stones were amazing. Arctic Monkey's were good on Friday. Personal fave of mine Elvis Costello got it right. Just rattle out the hits. Sent from my GT-I8190N using Black & White Army mobile app
  13. I wouldn't have minded seeing the Boss last night but I already had tickets to see Ron Sexsmith at the ABC, except they shifted it to the more intimate Oran Mor. Probably due to poor sales with Bruce in town. Anyway, an excellent gig.
