  1. I seem to remember that SMiSA members were asked about their skillset and willingness to be up for election for the St Mirren Board. Response was very poor hence I suspect this led to the current SMiSA Committee stating 'We have a partnership with someone who can be a vehicle to make the Club bigger and better than what it can be if it is just us on our own'.
Does the SMiSA fanbase have enough people with a skillset to run a business with a multi-million turnover and are willing to do it for nothing? I do not know but it does not look like it has based on the numbers volunteering at the last election and the poor response to voting and attending meetings by SMiSA members.

This is why I’ve voted in favour. I get the impression there is an apathy among the SMISA membership to get involved and make a direct contribution. If it got to 2026 and we were looking for folk to step up then I think it would be the same story. This way we get control but aren’t reliant entirely on SMISA to drive commercial streams.
  2. If this deal is the bees knees and all 3 parties involved are hugging and kissing,  why doesn't SMISA sell the 27% to the KIbble from their stake holding they have now ? and carry on as normal,  we would have the cash according to SMISA to buy Gordon's shares in 2023 they said,  3 years earlier than planned,
Come 2023 we would have 300k+ in the piggy bank staying with the club,  That's a nice little wedge that's walking out the door,

So SMISA should reduce their shareholding to 2% or so? How would that work?
  3. A striker would have been the priority before last week but with Magennis injured and McGinn probably away we now need cover for both. God knows when we’ll see McAllister again. 3 year deal now looking like a disaster. But him and McGrath should at least give us more creativity. I’d punt all 4 of the forward line that started yesterday. None of them reliable.

Thoughts? I’d maybe have Kirk in beside one of the centre halves for experience. Not convinced by Waters either but can’t see us signing another LB. And not sure about left wing/midfield either. Both Andreu and Durmus blow hot and cold.
