Clangers talking up Hladky in the paper today. Him and Popescu both been good additions.

Did the skipper say much of note?

lovestlegend got a reaction from faraway saint in Red Card Yesterday
At the time I thought it was a shocker but having seen the footage I can see why the ref has given it. Brad throws himself against the defender when there was no need.

Goody is one of my favourite players of recent times. But Saints are always the priority. Home win (just)

Not fussed about Hamill. Did the odd spectacular thing but beyond that wasn’t a grafter or a team player which is what we’re going to need over the next few months.

His goals did help us stay in the mix , but he's not the type of player we're going to need in the run-in. We need players playing for the cause and the jersey , let's hope we have some lined up !

Just get a slight fear that this could be another Mooy that comes back to bite us. Hopefully not. -

lovestlegend got a reaction from bazil85 in The 3 Monthly Spend
Fair play to you Basil for having the patience to continue responding to this absolute cretin who obviously got drummed out of the SMISA committee for being an absolute walloper and seems to have made it his life’s work to try to get some sort of petty revenge by sniping at every single thing they do. Imagine taking pot shots at trying to provide money for a Christmas dinner for vulnerable people. An absolute roaster. -

Did they not say the hand drier suggestion came from a member?
And nothing to stop more members from making requests. -
lovestlegend got a reaction from St.Ricky in David Nicol To Stand Down..........
Just thinking this has all gone a bit quiet. Will SMISA have to hold another election if David Nicol is standing down? Or has he stood down already?

He was good in a defensive sense but offered nothing going forward. Not good enough for this level. -
lovestlegend reacted to Wilbur in Sam Jamieson
Based purely on the evidence of today's brief appearance I am surprised that Sam hasn't been in the mix before now.
He snapped at Hibs players heels like a nippy wee terrier. Just the level of aggression that we have been missing thus far this season.
Potentially a future game starter IMO.

Yes, I thought the second half was superb, the team just needed a break. I overheard a few people around me saying the gulf between ourselves and Hibs was enormous, but I had to disagree. Just need a bit of luck... and a goal would be nice. Would’ve enjoyed it even more if we came away with at least a point (which was deserved, overall).
I think I’m hooked now.
‘MON THE SAINTS
Also, Wee Jackson looks keen. Appears to be an excellent signing.

The team lost but were applauded off the park.
The naysayers and non-attenders can make of that what they will.

Encouraged by the second half but you can see there are some players who strolled it in the championship now struggling at a higher level where you don’t get as much time on the ball and three chances to control it. Needs to be slicker.
But thought there was something there to cling to in the second half.
