Good to see us doing a little bit of time wasting! Nothing like what other teams have done to us this season, so well within norms. -

Listening to Radio Scotland. Between Richard Gordon and Willie Miller they haven’t been able to discuss a single St Mirren player- except Paul McGinn in the context of his tackle. It’s all Aberdeen. COYS. Make’em learn a few names! -

We have one advantage. Aberdeen are the team under pressure. All the expectation is on them. This is a must win to stay in touch with the title race. We need to frustrate them and hope for a chance well taken. COYS. -

I think you’re Irish by your liberal use of the work “feck”. Some others have said you’re a taxi driver. Together that should narrow down the options if you are a St Mirren fan. Can’t be long until you’re identified. Maybe get some help fella. Sincerely. -

So you agree. Cool. -
I for one will feel less safe going to matches if our own support attracts reciprocal action by fans of other clubs. This could escalate and I fully back the club and police in dealing with it. Maybe the offenders misunderstood the meaning of vomitory?

PS Anyone who’s been on a management team building seminar is likely to have been given the following phrase to remember stages of team building ”forming, storming, norming, performing” After January we are definitely in the ‘storming’ stage. Our difficulty is that we need to jump to ‘performing’ sooner than later. -

You have a higher expectation of what was possible with the resources at the time. I accept that. Good luck with it. -

LPM. He has the same time that he always had. We are further along on a very tight project- and it can be said to be broadly on track. Keep in touch with the league, rebuild, bed the rebuild in, perform and survive. We are at #3 in that list, on time. -

I do try to be optimistic. Plus points- we made some chances- if they’d gone in outcome could be different. Some players did well - they’ve already been mentioned here. Oran could still be testing his new team in the fire of matches with varying levels of fitness. We recovered the game for a brief period. Hey we even got a goal. Opportunity to bring Magennis and Cooke back in when fit, and to deploy Erhahon (and McPherson) in midfield But the result is the reality. We still seem to lack bite in midfield and penetration up front. Yes there are scenarios where we might improve, but if no consistent improvement in February we risk being adrift and demoralized and preparing for the championship. Have already got my ticket for Saturday, but will need to see some results before I commit more of my hard-earned to the Club. -

Absolutely. The assertions being made that Rangers would have won anyway are utterly glib. They take no account of the possible dynamics of the game and the home crowd. An insult to those of us who pay to see a beautiful game but end up getting a flawed and deeply unsatisfying product. -
Referee Statistics Andrew Dallas and others 2019
Paisleyporridge replied to St.Ricky's topic in General St. Mirren Discussion
From Twitter: @agentscotland: “Andrew Dallas has been in charge of 12 Scottish #Premiership games in 2018-19, three of those games involved Rangers, he's awarded them six penalties in those three games In the nine other Premiership games he's refereed this season he's only awarded two penalties.” Ie penalties per game rate: With Rangers, for Rangers: 6/3= 2 per game no Rangers, for other teams: 2/9= 0.22 per game Dallas’ Rangers penalty rate… 9 times more likely. I wonder what kind of measures the authorities use to alert themselves to issues that need might need to be scrutinized/ managed? -
