  1. The EU will be saying the same to Farage, the most useless MEP the world has ever seen.
  2. Instead of labelling what I said as “drivel”, why don’t you point out the parts which are drivel? I see nothing in that quotation that is incorrect, but it would be nice to have a serious response to it if you disagree. The 2014 vote is irrelevant these days. I’m interested myself to see who has changed their minds due to the broken promises made. I’m also interested to see the swing in EU voters - I’m of the belief that many would have voted No in 2014 due to the “only way to stay in EU is to stay in UK” bollocks. Now that the UK government has treated them with nothing but contempt, compared to a Scottish government offering support and showing interest in remaining in the EU, many of their heads could be turned too. It is also worth pointing out that the “Scottish” Tories fought the 2019 GE on a No to Indyref2 campaign - indeed it was the only bloody thing plastered on their Scottish leaflets. The fact they were hammered by the SNP (who obviously fight it on a Indyref2 basis among other things) shows that yes, Scotland does want to have Indyref2. You can hardly claim that a 48-6 defeat was a good result and a successful campaign against Indyref2 from the Tories. Who is Sturgeon a joke to exactly? From the Tories that’s a compliment, half of Labour is irrelevant as the likes of Murray, Thornberry and Nandy try to kill themselves off in Scotland (keep in mind most of the voters they’ve lost over the past decade have gone SNP, you should be trying to win them back, not insult them). Lib Dems are a joke party these days anyway. Tbh I’m not sure how it’s an insult when most politicians are jokes themselves. Trump and Johnson are leaders of their countries ffs, that’s the sort of thing I’d have imagined would be on a comedy sketch, not real life.
  3. No. The only people making these comments about Jack are the ones who acted like 5 years olds dropping their ice cream the day he left. You won’t find one manager out there who would have rejected the chance to manage Sunderland to stay at St Mirren unless they were a Buddie themselves.
  4. Do unionists actually have any decent arguments aside from pointless rhetoric?
  5. This is a very valid point. I’m worried for Dean now.
  6. Surely not? I got told off for that last time I played at the local mini golf.
  7. The most important question of the thread so far.
  8. Hookers in Cornwall may cost different to those in Paisley. It may also depend on what sort of hooker Tony is after. You can probably get the skanky diseased ones in Feegie for less than a fiver, but for the classier ones it would be higher. Depends what floats his boat.
  9. Whoever it is, they canny be worse than fecking Willie Collum
  10. Perhaps if we gave him a goal bonus equal to the price of a hooker, he would score more?
  11. Official Site Link Confirmed on the OS, with some words from Jamie Langfield. Nothing about the impending death of Dean Lyness though.
  12. It wouldn’t be the BAWA forum if it stayed on topic for longer than 3 posts. I want to add to the conversation but I doubt any of the guys on here have played mini-golf at Kidzworld at Par Market (and that is not intended to be a pun).
  13. Reminiscent of the translations last year regarding Hladky and concentration camps!
  14. Goodwin’s words according to the Daily Record: He's got fantastic attributes. He's around 6 foot 4 and Jamie Langfield likes the look of him. Technically he's got a lot to do and a lot to learn. He's a long way off playing for our first team.
  15. Cooke, Coulson, Jones, Hodson, Willock ... not playing non league football. In fairness four of those guys were loanees, and the other is still with us (the one remaining Stubbs signing). It was more aimed at the permanent signings like Kpekawa and Heaton.
  16. Either way a hat trick is a hat trick and if errors were being made, then credit to Cody for being in the right place. That’s what you want from a striker, someone who knows where to be when it matters. People keep going on about Obika and the ball smacking off him into the goal - simple fact is he knows where to be when it matters most. Its exactly why I said for every Djorkaeff there’s a McLoughlin. I wasn’t having a full on dig at the management team, hence why I mentioned Sam. I did try to strongly imply no management team gets it right all the time. The only one I’ll have a dig at is Stubbs because most of the guys he signed are playing non-league football in England now.
  17. Actually fair enough, you didny mention the word “fans”, I’ve just re-checked. I do disagree with your hat trick comment though. He’s the first and only player to score one in the top flight for us since Thompson, and I canny even remember who managed a similar feat before Thommo. It’s most definitely not “pinch of salt”. The same people at the club tried landing Miller (apart from obviously Goodwin) and May - both were/are shite signings as we’ve seen at their respected clubs. Of course it’s just football, they ain’t going to get it right 100% of the time and I’m not going to claim otherwise. For every Djorkaeff there’s a McLoughlin. I do believe Watt would be a mistake though.
  18. You were on about Fakes fans, not Tommy Wright. We have enough of these strikers who do other things well but can’t find the net. Danny runs around a lot, Morais does the same thing as Watt, Cooke doesn’t get a chance but scored more in one league match than Watt did all season. Fans slate Obika but he’s already one goal off matching last season’s top scorers. Watt isn’t going to add anything we don’t already have. We had some fans wanting May and Miller and they both turned out to be total gash at the Fakes and Dundee.
  19. Which Fakes were these? He scored twice in 29 games.
  20. His last decent season was in 2014/2015 with Charlton, he’s been gash since then. Hope we avoid this the same way we avoided Stevie May and Kenny Miller.
  21. Exactly. They don’t seem to realise this at all.
  22. It’s like Labour are trying to finish themselves off in Scotland. Murray was spouting nonsense recently and this moron is doing the same, as is Nandy. I despise the fact the Tories are in power but with many Labour MPs doing nothing to back Corbyn and openly slaying him throughout, they deserve the heavy losses they took. Corbyn was more Labour and democratic than any of these tosspots.
  23. That would be ideal. Perhaps a NATOesque “contribution” towards the defence costs so each is paying their “fair share”. Of course it’s not going to happen as Westminster will never give that amount of power up. But it’s things like this which would preserve the long term future of the union.
