  1. I guess the difference is Boyce is proven at this level and has done the job for a lower end team before. He’s a great signing, unfortunately the sort who’s out of our price range nowadays since his excellent spell at Ross County. That was my biggest concern going into Jan with Hibs/Hearts down the bottom (granted Hibs were fine once JR came in), they would have the financial might over ourselves. Sounds like a normal match at Gayfield, if Arbroath can handle it then we should too 😂
  2. Also worth mentioning Hearts have Liam Boyce - fantastic signing and exactly the sort needed to drag them off the bottom.
  3. Come on Saints, chance to make our first Scottish Cup QF since the 2016/17 season.
  4. Hodson for McGinn (who would have been gone for free anyway come summer) was not a bad move by any means. Regarding Wank Broadfoot, the moment he suddenly decided he didn’t want to be here, there was no point hanging onto him. It certainly shafted us with so little time remaining in the transfer window, but holding him here against his will would be no guarantee we’d get anywhere near the best out of him anymore. Jim was pushed right into a corner with that one.
  5. Free agency is the only real option tbh, but there’s a decent chance that if they are a free agent they aren’t match fit. Worrying times regarding the back line depth - again.
  6. Oi, I’m on about Djemba-Djemba now, stop deflecting 😢 In seriousness, in a decent team Sammon was okay. He was shite until that random half-season at Killie where he became a goal machine and sealed his move down south. In about six years he had one good season at Derby and an okay season with Sheff Utd (League One IIRC). Coming back down, Hearts signed him then loaned him straight out which didn’t say much for him tbh. 7 goals at Partick is about similar to Mullen and Jackson’s efforts last season, and probably similar to Obika this season. He was complete pish for Motherwell last season. Barring his occasional decent spell, he basically thrived on that good half-season at Killie.
  7. Djemba-Djemba also once played at a higher level than most, if not all of our team 😂
  8. Who? Apparently he scored against Barcelona or something Tbf Hearts signed both Connor Sammon and Ryan Edwards at one point 😂
  9. I prefer the burds in their late 20s/early 30s to those in their early 20s. Generally more mature and the sex is better too.
  10. I’m in the latter half of my 20s and it wouldn’t feel to me right messaging a burd who’s 16 or 17. Wouldn’t even go 18 or 19.
  11. It’s good to see the SNP have taken away his membership. Regardless of whether it was “legal”, 16 is clearly an unacceptable age for an adult to message in this sense. He’s let himself down, and I’m glad the SNP have acted swiftly on this. Shame the UK government prefer to glorify them instead though... Let’s celebrate Prince Nonce’s Birthday!
  12. At the same time, every option placed in front of them was pretty shite. It’s easy to whine about Remainers and blame them (or the EU) for everything, but at no point did May put an offer in front of them that was worth it’s salt.
  13. To be fair, I’ve been thinking that for about 5 years now. You wonder how much longer they can go on, yet Djok continues to take the Aus, Nadal the French, and Federer is still a top competitor. Seriously, how much longer can these guys carry on winning the top prizes? It’s phenomenal as you say, you can’t help but admire them.
  14. I've heard Camborne produces a lot of good banjo players though. Better than that...
  15. Well, it’s better than Camborne 😂
  16. Ryannair seek applicants who can travel round the EU freely Many of us did try to point out things like this were going to happen, but it was just “Project Fear” apparently.
  17. I always preferred cup games to the league. With the Scottish leagues you play the same old teams three or four times a year, sometimes for years on end. At least with the cup it’s our best chance of winning something, and makes this game more interesting than the average Saints v ‘Well league fixture.
  18. Will she be using our tax money for this? Somehow I can’t see the Clown dictatorship allowing her to equally use £5m of the taxpayer’s money for her own campaign.
  19. BoJo the Clown to waste £5m of taxpayer money to tell Scotland it’s better off in the unequal union
  20. I want St Mirren to sign Will Grigg purely for this.
  21. Bodmin is fairly decent, canny complain. I’ve reported three so far this year and all have been resolved. Generally acted on pretty quickly here.
