yep, if we beat Raith then we should hope Ayr get a point from Hibs, giving Ayr something to play for in their last match with Raith.
If we DONT beat Raith.....f**k that, hope Hibs beat them 6-0!

Really, that would mean that Ton lose to Raith and Ayr, lets not get to smug here, yes we are playing really well, yes JR and the team have turned this around , yes last night was bloody brill, but our last 4 games are against Falkirk, United, Raith and Hibs.................
We still have a job to do , and remember Ayr beating Pars away, and Raith beating United still shows anything is possible..........

Fortunately for me, the coward that I am, I had pitched my expectation at a level less than I suspect your goodself.
At the end of the game I was still disappointed the way things had turned out. I did stay till the end and can only imagine it was those who were buzzing beforehand who left as soon as the second goal went in...................bit disappointed with that too.
Anyway, 10 games to go, and as you say, not impossible. I'll be there, with reality head on, supporting the team till the end.

Yes, Wednesday night's performance and result were great, and we were good for 60 minutes yesterday, but we are not out of this relegation battle yet. Indeed, all these plaudits from others will just be the spur that teams like Raith, Dumbarton and Dung need to raise their game against us.
In my view, we are going to have to be as good as we were in the last two games for every game forthwith. Remember, it only takes a couple of bad decisions, a couple of injuries (God forbid Stephen McGinn getting injured) or a bit of bad luck to change things for the worse.
That said, so much happier with things now than before the window and hopefully we will do the needful in the weeks which follow. It may not be pretty, so hold on for the ride!!

Hibs are absolutely ripping the arse out of the loan system....have they no reserve centre halfs in the club? can they not reshuffle the squad. That is what having a big squad is for. That could cost us big style if Ambrose plays well tomorrow niight and snuffs out Sutton.
And as for Stevenson playing in goal for Raith....pish, sbsolutely pish. I will be f ff furious if Ayr win tonight and we lose to Ambrose inspired Hibs
And, I cant believe there are some St Mirren fans hoping Ayr will win tonight to give us a chance of catching Raith....there is one team we should be aiming for. The one directly above us....if we catch them then we can aim for t he next one up...I would take a play off place right now....WITHOUT A SHADOW OF DOUBT (cap locks ON for emphasise!)
