  1. Nobody squirms when you ask them a question! [emoji23] As for dick getting found out, is that when you asked him for a fight and then didn’t turn up? [emoji1] Threatening folk with violence online seems to be your thing. [emoji38]
  2. In the same week as Scotland’s MPs blocked England’s wish for a no deal Brexit, we now have Scotland blocking England’s prorogation of Parliament. So much for Scotland’s declining influence in the UK [emoji1]
  3. @TPAFKATS = the Tin Foil brigade! [emoji23]
  4. Swap De Bruyne, Lukaku, Alderweireld and Vertonghen for McGregor, Phillips, Mulgrew and Cooper and Scotland would have won! Guys like Robertson, Tierney, McTominay, McGinn, Fraser and Snodgrass would all make that Belgium squad. Indeed, guys like Matt Ritchie and James McArthur would make the Belgium squad. If we could find a couple of quality centre backs then I believe we could actually be competitive with this squad. We have quality midfielders, wide players and left backs. We’ve also had good keepers for the past few years. It would be good to find a striker as well but at least a couple of central defenders would give the team a backbone to build on. I remember watching Scotland beat Spain 3-1 at Hamden in 1985. We were so good in central defence that Alan Hansen didn’t even make the bench and Richard Gough was a sub. Mind you, we were so good back then that even Gordon Strachan only made the bench!
  5. Boris Johnson banging on about no more delay We’d already be out if he’d voted for May’s withdrawal agreement What a hypocrite
  6. Not in my example I don’t think. The choice has already been made and you believe something to fit that choice. The evidence of the benefits of independence doesn’t convince me one way or the other. I can easily see both sides. So I think you could choose which way to believe. So I’m not entirely sure I believe you.... Then again, I might. I’ll choose later [emoji12]
  7. I think it is. You choose to believe that independence is best for the country.
  8. Many people choose their support of independence or otherwise based of things like fitting in with friends or a partner or their football team. Once they make that choice then they interpret the evidence to believe that it’s best for the country in order to fit in with their choice?
  9. Would it be possible to change my belief that Scottish independence isn’t best for the country? I could just choose to do that couldn’t I? I’m liking your argument on this btw.
  10. Nope, just made it up. [emoji12] I think the vote was something like 329 - 300 so a 29 winning margin All 35 SNP MPs voted in favour so they had quite a bit of influence.....
  11. 35 SNP MPs have just vetoed England attempting to leave the EU without a deal. Quite a lot of influence I reckon
  12. I wish folk would stop posting faraway’s sexual fantasies on this forum
  13. They don’t negotiate with Greece because they have no bargaining power. The UK is one of the biggest and wealthiest trading partners in Europe. No deal will hurt Europe as well.
  14. Sounds like a faraway saint fantasy.......
  15. That’s neat that neat I really love your.....
  16. Im not civilised when folk reply with irrelevant nonsense!
  17. What would they know? Drivel going by your conversation with them! And totally irrelevant to the post you quoted!
  18. Step 5. You need to stop posting irrelevant nonsense
  19. Do you have any evidence for this? I voted no as did all my immediate family, the vast majority of my friends and workmates. The EU issue played no part in my vote and I don’t remember it being an issue that anyone I know who voted no raised during the referendum campaign. I’d still vote no today and Brexit would play no part in that. I don’t know anyone who has declared that they will switch to yes as a result of Brexit. Indeed, after the Brexit referendum we had a general election in which the SNP lost a significant share of the vote and a number of MPs whilst the Tories remarkably became the second party in Scotland.
  20. @Cornwall_Saint of course we’re all equal nations Everyone in the UK gets a vote and that vote is worth the same regardless of what nation someone comes from! That’s how democracy works! England wants a no deal Brexit. The UK as a whole doesn’t. Therefore the whole of the UK wins. That’s democracy!
  21. I realise that but really can’t be bothered. We know for sure it’s the way the rest of the UK voted
