  1. Spare a thought for our goalies friend and former team mate "Czech International" Josef Sural. Killed in a crash in Turkey after a match. They played together at Slovan Liberec. Keep your chin up Vaclav.
  2. Absolutely pish! I know he is young, but Erhahon really does not fill me with confidence. Played through him with ease and did not track the runner
  3. I am watching it on there right now. Had to close a few ads first, but stream is great
  4. http://feed2all.org/soccer/feed-livingston-st-mirren-2all3j9c1
  5. Are away games on St Mirren TV or is it only home games??????? If not, does anyone have a link to a decent stream??? Thanks
  6. Killie had 4 penalty claims and having watched them all back, they should have had 2 The 3rd and 4th
  7. Midfield was the issue all night long. Absolutely dire. Mcpherson and Erhahon never got a kick. Still not convinced about Lyons or Flynn either.
  8. Midfield is really really poor. Can't hold onto the ball or string 2 passes together. Jackson was totally isolated before. Now after the substitution, we have Jackson and Nazon both isolated.
  9. I am not saying we have a "divine right", but we certainly aren't so well represented in any of the age categories. I am sure someone will correct me if I am wrong, but after having a look at all the recent squads all the way down to U16 level, we have nobody in there except Erhahon at U18 level.
  10. I ask the question because we are a club who is/or should be focused on developing young players, yet we have nobody in the U21 squad. If the youth system is working, then why nobody in the squad?????
  11. Nobody in the latest U21 squad. Have we given up on trying to develop youth or it just isn't working(nobody coming through) Thoughts?????? Goalkeepers: Ross Doohan (Ayr United, on loan from Celtic), Robby McCrorie (Greenock Morton, on loan from Rangers) . Defenders: Jamie Brandon (Heart of Midlothian), Daniel Harvie (Ayr United), George Johnston (Liverpool), Sean Mackie (Hibernian), Barry Maguire (Queen of the South, on loan from Motherwell), Ross McCrorie (Rangers), Patrick Reading (Middlesbrough), Iain Wilson (Queen of the South, on loan from Kilmarnock). Midfielders: Allan Campbell (Motherwell), Lewis Ferguson (Aberdeen), Jordan Holsgrove (Reading), Connor McLennan (Aberdeen), Calvin Miller (Ayr United, on loan from Celtic), Callumn Morrison (Heart of Midlothian), David Turnbull (Motherwell). Forwards: Jake Hastie (Motherwell), Fraser Hornby (Everton), Ben House (Swindon Town, on loan from Reading), Michael Johnston (Celtic), Oli Shaw (Hibernian).
  12. Interesting!!! The only positive part of your post was "the keeper, Muzak & Popescu are decent". Who by all accounts were scouted by Gus McPherson. Then you go on to say that Gus is a waste of a wage. Strange!
  13. I know lots of Buddies who go to every home game and don't have a season ticket. They spend more than season ticket holders in the end.

  15. Firstly, I didn't expect anything from the game tonight result wise. But, I did expect at least a few moments of decent play. Perhaps a few decent passing moves. Maybe even a couple of shots on goal. We got zero. Absolutely nothing. I thought the team selection was wrong and whatever the tactics were, they didn't have a chance of working because the midfield couldn't string 2 passes together. We still need at least 4 or 5 players in during the next week. The midfield is the issue. Flynn & Kellerman won't do. They are not good enough. I am running out of hope with S McGinn in this league. I will hold judgement on Tansey and Lyons for a few weeks. We need a left back, a centre mid, 1 or 2 wingers and a striker. Shocking performance regardless of who or where we were playing.
  16. I know everybody deserves a chance and has to start somewhere, but I can't say I am majorly excited about Lyons or McAllister. Lyons.........highest level he has played is part time for Coleraine in the Irish league. Big step up. McAllister...................highest level he has played is less than 20 games in the Championship....Huge step up required. They might be great, and I certainly hope so. We'll see. I still think we need a bit of experience in there. Still to inexperienced in the creative areas for my liking.
  17. . Nothing to do with me....lol. But, if Gus would like my number!!!
  18. Overall the Czech league is a better standard than ours. No question! You just have to look at the results of their teams in Europe compared to ours for proof. 17/18 ........ 3 teams in Europa Lge group stage (Plzen, Slavia & Zlin).........................Plzen made it to the knockout stage 18/19.......... 1 team in Champions Lge group stage (Plzen) who dropped into the Europa Lge KO stage. 2 teams in Europa Lge groups stage (Slavia & Jablonec).........Slavia qualified for the KO stage beating Zenit St Pburg 2-0 on the way. I have no doubt Hladky will do well. Liberec are a strong team here. I would say that it wouldn't be at bad thing to look at more guys from this league. If you exclude the guys at Plzen, Slavia and Sparta. Most of the other teams players would be coming to Saints for a much higher salary. I could easily put together a decent list of players I've seen over here that could do a great job for us and up their salary in the process.
  19. 9 this season. And I actually saw him in one of them. ***1-1 draw with Bohemians Prague back in August*** Can't say I really paid much attention to him. I follow Bohemians over here. But, that probably is not a bad thing if a Goalie doesn't catch your eye. ie, he didn't make any blunders. From what I read over here, he was always the back up keeper. N'Guyen is there number one. Hladky was at Liberec for 4 seasons. 9 matches this season (Lost his place when N'Guyen came back from injury) 17/18 15 games 16/17 2 games 15/16 5 games https://isport.blesk.cz/clanek/fotbal-1-liga-rocnik-2018-19/342727/sestrih-liberec-bohemians-1-1-hoste-vedli-a-neuznali-jim-mylne-gol.html Here is a link to the match I was at. Just scroll down through the match report and press play on the video. (First video is the full highlights) A couple of decent saves from Hladky. Make your own mind up about the goal. I think he didn't do too much wrong though. Also, a certain Milan Baros was his team mate a couple of seasons ago (16/17)
  20. Hlad Key. And it means "Smooth" in English. So here's hoping he is smooth
