Minutes silence perfectly observed.

Moi!
In photo IIRC.
Back row:
Hyslop, Beckett, Leonard, Richardson, Torrance.
Middle-rear ish: Johnston, Reid
Middle-front: Trainer Eddie McDonald, Boss Alex Ferguson, McGarvey, Hunter, Fitzpatrick, Stark. Not sure of next player. Doesn’t look like mad Mowat as he looks different to how I remember him. Physio Ricky McFarlane.
Kneeling Davie Provan.
No sign of big Jack Copland unfortunately.
Cannot make out who is wearing the tie behind the raised arms of Fitzpatrick and Stark. Nor can I work out who is behind Ricky.
Fergies Furies. Loved that era. Happy days.
Looks like Alan Logan, but surely a bit early for him I think..

Yeah, think you’re correct about not being on TV 📺 Could it have been this game in 90/91 season?

Wow, I have zero recollection of this game ever taking place.. then again I was in my early 20s and partying hard, things have always been a bit blurry around this time..😂

Think this was the only Live on TV St. Mirren game I saw in Jersey in the whole of the 90s. Certainly can’t think of any others.
http://www.stmirrenprogrammes.co.uk/StMirren/STM_Match_Details.php?Season=1994&GameID=199501280Don't think this game would've been on the TV, it was a Saturday 3 o'clock game and I left work early to go to this, I'd planned to meet fellow workmates in the cellar bar after the game but they were involved in a bad car crash on the way home, luckily no one got seriously injured, I would have been in the crash if I hadn't went to the game..

Not noticed anything about it on here, but it appears that The Afton has been opened a while and is operating as…
… a Rangers Bar? Low key, as they say. But it will show “the Games”.
Inn on the Corner.
ETA: reading the final page of that (someone had to do it!), it seems shut again.
Was only a Sevco pub for a few weeks before it closed,
Just opened back up by the same woman who was running the anchor bar.

Baccus has been a standout in this first half, playing superbly...

Fergie's old adversary passed away today also, he done a great job at the Bankies...

Was listening to the radio commentary of the rangers game on my way home tonight and everyone was in agreement they are absolutely honking...
We really should be hopeful of smashing this mob on Sunday

So sad.. Frank was a great player and goalscorer for the Buddies, I'm sure Alex Ferguson once said he was the best signing he ever made for the Dons....RIP.

Result next week
Not enough!
If we beat Ireland by 8 points we qualify, very hard ask but not impossible..
-
Good point...
Shit game.. we really need to get those horrendous surfaces as far away from our game as possible.... dire stuff.

Aye, I blame the diddies who decided that a ground that holds about 8k wasn't enough for us..........................well, it really has been for the last 14 years.
It's been half empty (just a guess) for most of the games over the last umpteen years so now that we're flying it's unfair to deride the decision to have a stadium that holds 8K.
Agreed, 8k is a perfect fit for us, the atmosphere today was really good,
But I'm sure if we could do it again we would build something more intimidating and atmospheric, those big gaps in the corners make the ground feel too open..

One of Feegie's finest, brought up in the same street as my Dad and went to the same school... Very talented man. RIP.
