There was also prefabs near to StJames interchage just where they built the Airport parking {Now closed} on the left as you head up to the interchange on the duel carriageway

I lived there till they knocked them down in 1964 remember it very well,  The ferguslie park prefabs got knocked down a year or 2 later

There was 3 ways into the prefabs all through Railway Bridges....  Ferguslie Park Ave next to the shop known as Nellies, off Stirrat St, and StJames ave

The area came under West March may even have been where the old Stmirren ground was ?

That sounds to me the place that was known as the cowboy valley, absolutely no idea how it became known as this..

We used to take our lives in our hands cutting through there too and from the shows at the racecourse, always a danger of taking a bushwhacking from the Craigielea drive gang...😂😂... Defo bandit country..

    Jim Goodwin -

St Mirren manager loses to East Kilbride

    Aberdeen manager loses to Darvel

Dundee Utd manager loses to Spartans.

St Mirren manager blows two semi finals and top 6 in space of a few months.

Aberdeen manager only wins 2 of first 14 games in charge blows top 6 last match at home to Ross County.

Next season decides it's a good idea to make the worst centre half in their history the club captain then watch as team self destructs over and over again with Stewart being the guilty party more often than not.

Dundee Utd manager somehow gets this gig after Aberdeen has them getting some decent results up to the split then they self destruct and gets them relegated somehow they give him a 2 year deal which he starts by making Tony Watt the vice captain and a pumping at Spartans.

Absolutely Hilarious and Brilliant to watch.

    Aye my sides are splitting...

Fcukin weird how folk can take so much joy from the failures of such a superb servant to our club, he's hardly Alex Rae or Davie Hay..

  3. Peter Godfrey, Scott Walker and Joe Shaughnessy theres about a 30 year gap between the 3 of there St Mirren careers, can only imagine it's a signed ball from hospitality at a pretty recent game or maybe a POTY event...

My daughter has been given this signed ball. Can anyone advise of the autographs on it and what era/year it is from. Think she wants to try and sell it for funds

I’m in the same boat as you. Think I’m going to go to the ticket office tomorrow and request a card, wish I had done that at the time when renewing.

If you do make sure you get your timing right mate, twice I've left early from work to make the ticket office and twice it's been shut.... Not the best of service for those who need to work, actually its fcukin useless...

I definitely remember the name , does anyone know if he was involved in P&B Amateur football at all ?

He was indeed, I used to see him regularly at the racecourse when I played Amatuer,

He was my woodwork teacher at St Aelreds, he was always a bit of a joke figure in the school, I remember he punched me in the side of the ribs because I was sawing a workbench..😂,

I was in the jungle with a Celtic supporting mate when we lost one of the 7-1 games. This was under Alex Miller

I think it was 2-0 and Paul Chalmers pulled it back to 2-1.

My mate jumped up and down shouting that I was a Saints fan and a “proddy”.

The guys around me all wanted to shake my hand

Wouldn’t happen at Ibrox the other way around. We all think OF fans are the same. They aren’t. Rangers fans are far far worse

I was at that very game aswell, in the Celtic end with 4 Celtic supporting mates, when Chalmers scored I went off my nut and not a bad word was said in my direction,

Pretty sure the big story that day was that Neil Simpson broke Ian durrants knee up in Aberdeen, it was all the talk on the way home that day..

For the same reason people don't say 'chips and fish'...

Anyway, I partially agree with the opening poster, but also partially agree with @TPAFKA Jersey 2. :) Our main colours are black and white, with red being far less significant, but still an integral part of the club's identity. In any flag, red should be a minor constituent, comprising say 10% with black and white making up 45% each.

Maybe Div should change the forums name to Black & White & a wee bit of Red army.... 😂

As the players step out on to the pitch, the kids are there waving flags coloured, black, white and ...red in equal portions.  When did 'red' become a standard colour other than the colour of the numbers on the back of the shirts.  Our colours and BLACK and WHITE.

Agreed, don't like it when they put a red trim on our home tops, looks shit imo..

😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄 What a shame for the Harry Rags... dont want them near our stadium...well done County...a nice well run club

A bit harsh that is it not?... What's the worst that could happen, someone pull out a dictionary and you end up with a paper cut..😂

Would rather a stand full of Jag fans than the usual 25 county fans..
