  1. Will you be coming tomorrow, for what is surely the biggest game of the season and a near sell out?
  2. 🤣 I needed a good laugh today! I saw that. Aye, a nice thing to do.
  3. Yesterday. I think someone mentioned it on the P&B thread.
  4. I want to lose this bet. I will be absolutely devastated if we finish 7th. We would have nothing to play for and our season would be over. I have an insurance policy in case my house burns down, but it doesn't mean I want it to burn down. If I 'win' the bet, the money will be put towards my next season ticket.
  5. That incentivises leaving it late to buy tickets in the future, as folk might expect a similar discount. It's also unfair on those who've already paid full price for their tickets. The club should just advise folk to get there early. If people miss the game because they turn up late, then that's their own doing. I agree with others who said that we need a point against Hearts. We cannot rely on other results. A point should be enough, though goal difference is tight with Hibs. We might have to park the bus at Parkhead.
  6. I love them! Also there's something magical about a rousing rendition of Flower of Scotland before the game. I also like to hear other nations' anthems.
  7. I didn't actually know who was responsible, so I generalised and didn't point the finger at anybody!
  8. I believe we were able to edit posts we'd created at one time, but then it was stopped as some posters were abusing it...
  9. Damn! That will teach me to create threads late at night...and no, I hadn't been drinking. I can't edit the title, either. I will report it and see if @div will kindly do it for me.
  10. Just under two weeks to go to this fixture. Hearts have already sold out their allocation: https://www.heartsfc.co.uk/blogs/news/ticket-information-st-mirren-a We've also shifted a lot of tickets for this game, with two sections of the Main Stand already sold out: I expect there will be quite a few folk waiting until pay day to get theirs and therefore I think this might well sell out days before the game. If you know folk who want to go, best encourage them to get their tickets sooner rather than later!
  11. I believe Aberdeen are still in contention, mathematically at least. However, from our perspective we only have to worry about Hibs and Dundee catching us. St. Mirren - Motherwell (a), Hearts (h) & Celtic (a) Hibs - Rangers (a), St. Johnstone (h), Motherwell (a) Dundee - St. Johnstone (a), Motherwell (h), Rangers (h), Aberdeen (a) If we beat Motherwell and Hibs lose at Ibrox, that's it - done! We really need to take a massive support to Fir Park! It could really be a top-six celebration. 🏁
  12. Unfortunately, I don't think there will be any fixtures that weekend, if it's the Cup semis.
  13. He was in floods of tears?! 😂 I think Neville imagined that. The fact is people should behave themselves, but if they don't that should not be a matter for the police. Being verbally abusive to someone should never be a matter for the authorities, regardless of what is said, unless it is threatening, IMHO. That's pretty much how it was until the 1980s and it's how it is in the US.
  14. I couldn't catch up with the results, so watched Sportscene without knowing the score and celebrated the goals almost like I would have done at the game. Naturally, I was very disappointed by the end. These things happen. The other week we stole an unlikely win. This week we threw away a commanding position. That's football. The next game is MASSIVE, though! Killie are away to Hearts and Hibs away to Rangers! Both are likely to drop points. If we win at Motherwell, there's a great chance we will take back fourth spot.
  15. Magic, pal. I will look out for it. Thanks.
  16. I'd love to see the footage! Absolutely amazing finish to a game. Truly breathtaking. I was delirious.
  17. I thought about that and came up with a few theories: 1) He doesn't want to be seen to be just interested in the big clubs. 2) It's nearer the airport. 3) He's a Catholic, even just culturally, and cannot abide the idea of going to Ibrox. 4) He's got a soft spot for one of the clubs. Yours is one I hadn't considered, but is a definitely a possibility, too.
  18. County away midweek in winter was always going to be a tough fixture. I'd have taken a draw before the game, given both Dundee and Killie play the Old Firm tomorrow night. We cannae take anything for granted, but if the uglies win then it's a point gained. We should have had a penalty, too! Hopefully there will be a massive turnout on Saturday and we take three points off Aberdeen.
  19. By inserting one's arm into said boot! 🥾
  20. I obviously want a Saints win, but a tiny bit of me feels very sorry for David Martindale.
  21. You're probably right. I was absolutely shattered, to be honest. A long day at work followed by a delayed kick off didn't help.
  22. Your optimism isn't shared by the majority of fans, unfortunately, going by ticket sales. It's rubbish that we have to lose Kwon now, as he looked very good the other night. Was it not his pass that put Olusanya through on goal?
  23. How can he say the pitch was poor? It looked fine from where I was sitting! 😮
