  1. Typical response. Look over there, nothing to see here !! It’s a shit show and embarrassing for all involved. While an explanation has been provided it still raises questions of why as a fans owned club we are banning ex Directors for raising concerns on the governance of the club. Fact - An application was made for grant funding with SMFC name on it and with SMFC land. (It took 12 months after the stage 1 application for someone to provide an explanation that the wrong land was used and it was the Councils fault) Why when this was initially brought up at the AGM by AW was this explanation not provided then. Fact - We are led to believe that AW resigned from the Board over this. It is therefore safe to assume this must have been discussed at board level prior to his resignation and why he is still peddling the same theory. Presumably he would have been advised of the error and the use of the name at this stage Questions - Who instructed Mr Needham to ban AW from the ground. The poster who confessed to advising the press, is he next. Where is the line for voicing an opinion and getting a ban. Why was Mr Needham not banned from the board never mind the ground for the number of stupid and unwise social media posts. Question - AW rightly or wrongly is in the press about this. Why did the board not do their job properly and deal with this prior to it going public. What are the board actually doing. Questions need to be asked of them and whether they are all actually working in the best interest of the club. The sun might be shining now with the performances on the pitch. However it is evident from this debacle that it is a shitshow behind the scenes. That needs to be sorted now. This is a fans owned club !!! Whether you like AW or not the moronic comments about him on social media detract from anyone else putting their name forward to do this role. End result we end up with people on the board who are incapable of running a business and making business decisions for the greater good of the club and not their ego, self interest or incestuous connection to other businesses.
  2. It’s clear from the article one of the two parties involved is being economic with the truth. Have you ever been critical on any point associated with the Kibble. If you have then I’m sure you will be getting a letter advising you that you are banned from the Kibble with immediate effect
  3. I’m with Doakie and trying to remain objective on this. However some of the stuff published that is allegedly aligned to both parties does not stack up.
  4. I was going to say it was fake. However the bit about the Club not having details of the members, kind of gives it some credence.
  5. Firstly of all, all the positive stuff in your first paragraph, is a smokescreen and does not fix the disappointing accounts. Deflection at best The moan from AW is not about the land it’s about the lack of trust that evidently exists within our board. With AW background i doubt he would make such accusations without having detailed evidence to substantiate it. In simple terms if you ran a pub which had a spare driveway with one of your mates who also ran a mobile home company. I think you would be well pissed off to discover your mate had applied for grant funding to park a mobile home in your pubs driveway for his other business and not even ask you or tell you about it. AND when challenged responded “oh it doesn’t matter i never got the funds anyway.” The gripe AW has is that the name of SMFC and SMFC land has been used without their knowledge to try and secure grant funding which is not ultimately for the benefit of SMFC. (While at the same time SMFC are discussing other proposals for the land with the “offending” Directors) The questions are have the Directors acted in accordance of the laws set by Companies House - Have the followed the Articles of Association - Have they promoted the success of the Company (in this case which company) - Have the exercised independent judgement - Exercised reasonable care, skill and diligence - Advised on Conflicts of interest and personal benefit - Kept reasonable records
  6. Auditors resigning after reviewing the SNP’s portfolio. Is it normal for a business you have used for 10 years, to jump ship. Smoke……………………Fire……………………No.
  7. It’s only jobs for the boys because no one else is interested in it. The reason no one is interested is because its run as a clique and always has been. SMISA needs to be more open minded to its membership and look to co-opt experienced members to be potentially on to the committee then verified by the membership. It’s ironic observing on social media that some of the past committee members are happy to watch it burn (even fuelling the fire )rather than put forward solutions. Seems a rather egotistical approach rather than thing of the wider objective of SMISA
  8. He went on a real head banging rant on something that he inferred i claimed..
  9. I know that a £80k dogs kennel does not need a Project Manager especially when you have JAM Architects onboard. AND a competent contractor.
  10. The point is that the Wendy house did not need any project management input from the Clients side. It needed an informed Client, lead consultant and a competent contractor.
  11. Likewise I have project management skills on the building of 2 new ferries, now they are near completion i was looking after the Duelling of the A9, and are also managing the introduction of the DRS scheme. All thanks to my Project Management YTS at the Kibble
  12. They do Product Management as well. No end to their capabilities.
  13. Christ you are rattled today You were the one boasting that the Kibble had Project Managed the works for free then went on to advise that a Project Manager of the Kibble Knitting Group has the same transferable skills to a PM working on a Construction Project. Then we hear BEEP BEEP BEEP as you start reversing and telling us “the Kibble have Project Managers they do, they do, i saw it on LinkedIn and a Big Boy told me” Calm down Baz
  14. Under HSE CDM 2015 appointing a Project Manager with little to no experience in the construction industry would put the Client at risk of a prosecution in the event of a reportable incident.
  15. A good project manager doesn't need to personally have expertise in any specific field/industry. Okay !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  16. Do the two you found on LinkedIn have PM Experience on Construction other than SIM City. Roses are Red Violets are Blue Bazils in a froth And doesn’t have a clue
  17. A long winded way of saying “I don’t know” You went off and typed in LinkedIn Kibble + Project and came back with 2 names. Can you confirm that these individuals have the skill set to PM a commercial construction project. The qualification is more than playing SIMS on their iPad
  18. Bazil please enlighten me to what experience they have in the field. Please ensure you reference other commercial projects.
  19. Under an industry standard contract. All of the ones mentioned are a risk that sits with the Contractor not the Client. The contractor should also be signed up to Liquidated Damages and required to play the Client if they run late. To give Bazil his due none of us know exactly what transpired on the procurement or the management of the project. Only the Club and Board do. We can dance around who is to blame, however the blame for the overspend and lateness of the contract must lie with the Board. The Board allow the overspend to go on
  20. You are one deluded individual. The last part explains your ignorance and lack of understanding on the complexity that is involved in development and construction. To infer that someone who Project Manages say a Welding Plant can have inter-transferable skills and knowledge to manage a construction project with issues such as Planning, Warrant, Utilities, Tenders, Contracts, Condition of Contracts, SOA, Programmes, Change Control, Valuations, Variations, HSE, CDM to name but a few is possibly the reason the club are reporting a loss. Remember the £400k+ issue is a wendyhouse that went wrong. Thank goodness they were not building something more complex. But don’t worry the service was free
  21. Every industry has a project. Therefore anyone can call themselves a Project Manager. My wife is organising the grass to be cut. She is the landscape Project Manager of the house. Point is Construction Project management comes with a significant level of different skills to teaching knitting and sowing. Also if it is on LinkedIn it must be true.
  22. It must be their best kept secret. Their webpage makes no reference to Project Management on commercial construction projects. PMing a few kids making a birdtable makes them a teacher not a Project Manager
  23. The planning application makes no reference to removal or refurbishment of an existing temporary accommodation. Nor does it make reference to the use of. Portakabin type (temporary) accommodation. The club paid a reputable firm of Architects to design and lodge for Planning a new building. (Albeit retrospectively)
