  1. SGG the Boris Johnson of St Mirren. Take £100k’s off SMISA then want to sit at the table for £12/month. Brings some real context to the extent of bullshit rumours doing their rounds over the last few weeks. The audacity of this is incredible. Even his statement is having a “between the lines” kick at the Club, Kibble and SMISA. Better vote him as he knows best. The later years of his stewardship of the club were the most depressing times of being a fan of St Mirren. Sack Danny Lennon replace him with Craig, Teale, Murray then Rae. No fan engagement other than tell us we knew feck all and we needed a R**gers.
  2. You have certain posters on here gloating on the leaving of Directors both in the Club and SMISA then in the same posts hinting at some sort of financial apocalypse in the club. If the later is true then good riddance to those Directors as the Club. As for the SMISA changes. Long over due. SMISA is now at a different stage and as such needs different people at the helm to assist in that change in direction. If the resignations breeds new blood with fresh ideas, fantastic. The way some of the posts on here are presented are like the idle tittle tattle you get from your white Audi TT driving hairdresser when your in for a short back and sides.
  3. So its all the Kibbles fault and SGG will come in and save us through the back door of a SMISA membership. Your having a laugh. I’m with JJM i did not pay my SMISA membership to pay off the SGG clique then allow him to still sit at the table. The clique spent years and failed to sell the club. They were not it even interested in selling to SMISA.. It took for GLS to put his SMISA/GLS deal to them for it to be pushed through. It was only accepted as there were no other offers. The clique could have at the very onset offered fans ownership as the model for selling their shares. NOPE !! They touted the club around the market in the hope a sugar daddy would appear with bars of gold to take their shares. (Remember they deliberately omitted other shareholders from the clique to maximise their own return) There is some contradictions in your post. Initially you claim to have an insight to the apparent abyss in the running of the club then next your stating that you need to wait until the accounts are lodged on Companies House to find the official line.
  4. They are going to have Davina McColl host the evening to see who is next to leave the Big Hoose
  5. How Big is this meeting going to be. Should SMISA hire out the Hydro or just stick to meeting in the pub.
  6. I can’t be Mr D……. Stuart Mr D, especially if i am Lawrence Stud Back to topic. Business changes at the club being portrayed as an Armageddon followed by potential new Directors on the SMISA board and Club. It’s like a story from Scooby Doo. Probably not and it’s just routine stuff that goes on at normal functioning businesses, nepotism, staff moving on, changes at the top. Then a lot of shit stirring on social media by the ITK crowd.
  7. I recall not long after the GLS takeover SMISA being asked to put their hand in their pocket to pay for long term issues with the undersoil heating system that pre-dated the takeover. Happy for someone to review the timeline I suspect that between both of us that one of us is called Stewart.
  8. Agree. People forget that when SGG and his clique were trying to sell the club they basically stopped all investment in the club, financial and resource. They also sold the club with a legacy of issues due to lack of investment. The undersoil heating being a prime example. A lot of the people that were mentioned early in the thread that have gone were only employed with St Mirren due to the family or friend connections.
  9. It’s all subjective and depends what side of the fence you sit. At least the Tories have learned their lesson and brought in a chancellor with a name that is rhyming slang as a description for their leader.
  10. I think that statement currently applies to every political party. UK political parties are self-serving with no real interest in their core voters. Smoke and Mirrors
  11. What’s happened to the world. All these protestors have posh accents. Has the cost of living crisis got so bad they are serving pink custard in Private Schools.
  12. I would only have voted for her if she came out and said “Lessons will be Learned” OR “We are trying to build an economy similar to _________ “ (put any country in that fits the narrative) OR “At least we are not worse than ________” (put any country in that fits the narrative) I am sure many people made a lot of money out of the governments policy, cant wait for it to filter down.
  13. REALLY !!!!! Jesus, Mary and Joseph and the wee donkey
  14. I never made anything up and never even made a claim. And, yes, that's a fact. Back to Primary School reading lessons for you. I should have posted Maybe he wasn’t 17. Maybe your post was just indolent on checking the facts. Had you checked you would maybe not have required you to use “maybe” . Maybe you would not have needed to post the negativity and actually given the lad some credit. Do primary schools teach the reading of tedious soporific pish
  15. You making stuff up again. !!! Clyde did not play any 17 year olds on Saturday. I know how you like facts. Clydes defence on Saturday was made up of McLean 37 year old centre back, Thicot 35 year old centre back, Sulla 27 year old centre back and Lyon 24 year old right back, Rodden 21 year old left back Offord came on 55 mins. Clyde on 67mins brought on Peter Grant 28 years old for Lyon. It would appear that Menstriesaint was correct Offord bullied an experienced and aged centre half and maybe no a 17 year old.
  16. I am the real Lost Ud…….(I’m not really, however thought it was a Spartacus moment)
  17. Oh the irony. Glasshouses and all that. But hey I don’t get paid to be pompous and arrogant. I just enjoy it
  18. Apologies. You are not as intelligent as i first gave you credit for. Still as monotonous and pompous though. The problem you have with me is you think I’m someone that I’m not. Now that’s dumb
  19. We have been through this before. You have this self belief that you are the smartest person in the room. Thats fine. If spelling mistakes bring you humour then knock yer self out. I rarely understand your posts, normally monotonous. They have no real content and are imo deliberately written to allow you to take a pompous and arrogant stance. But hey you are the Professor
  20. It was the fact that he was commenting on someone else's intelligence when he did it, that I found amusing. In situations like that you should really tripell chick you're spelling ant grama. Interesting that you measure someone’s intellect on their ability to proof read their spelling. I presume if you had read a post from people such as Albert Einstein, Alexander Graham Bell, Thomas Edison, F.Scott Fitgerald, Henry Ford and Ingvar Kamprad etc you would classify them all as thick as fck. ( Richard Branson was borderline for inclusion on that list !!) Maybe i should just take a leaf out of Billy Kay and write in Scots
  21. Please name all such companies with their track record
  22. I never said all companies. But to counter the argument. Please advise the Nationalised companies that were model organisations running a great profit in to the coffers of the government.
  23. You are making assumptions that I’m scared of independence. I’m more scared that i become some boring pedantic person lokin fir peples spellin misteaks
  24. Is privatisation a bad thing. When these companies were nationalised they were a financial disaster. They were privatised because of the burden they were to the government
  25. I was nearly pointing out the alternative to your view of the majority of Scots not voting a Tory government. Neither did the UK. Nor did the majority of Scots vote SNP in either the General Election or the Scottish Elections. The SNP do not represent the views of the majority of Scotland - FACT
