Another cracker (literally) from late 90s.
We were going away for a longer away fixture once so the bus left earlier. As soon as we pulled onto the M8 at Arkleston, a bus in the middle lane slowly began to overtake us... It had a Morton badge on the front window. Too early to be the supporters bus...... THAT'S THE f**kING TEAM BUS.
Next thing you know, everoyne is over out side, banging the windows throwing viccys etc.... our very own Skoda Saint had his trousers down and his bare arse pressed against the window as we are all battering it to get the Morton squads attention. There was a card school going up the back of their bus with guys like Stevie Aitken, Warren Hawke etc and some of their reactions to seeing big skodas ring winking at them were brilliant. 😂

The day we stayed up in Stirling will live with me forever, as much as the football itself, the bus ride home.
Rangers were at home that day and the M8 was a crawl all the way back on both sides for about 5 miles outside Glasgow. However, they'd just lost at home to someone and blown 10 in a row. Meanwhile we'd possibly just saved our club's very existence.
For the next hour, every Rangers supporters bus was greeted with a 'whoooooooooa' as it slowly approached in the opposite direction and a bus full of celebrating buds giving it big licks to all the 'people' going back to Edinburgh, Falkirk, Motherwell, Dundee etc instead of supporting their local teams.
Petty as f**k but one of my favourite moments ever on the bus. Folk were just deliriously happy, so to see one of the arse cheeks so despondant travelling the other way was a perfect storm.

Fricky_Bellend reacted to bonzoboys in Coronavirus
Don’t know if boris has it right or not, but just getting fed up with every other politician who has no real responsibility, jumping on the “I know better” bandwagon. Scoring political points at this time is s**t. What happened to national unity, caring about the people? same with panic buyers etc. No thought for others. Hope the guys with all the handgel gets it from somebody that has none. We all need a share of everything. china and Asia have different culture but when government said or demanded stay at home, they did it. Here we want freedom, want to go to pub etc. “Nobody tells me what to do” culture. Absolutely bonkers. Next it will be the civil liberty claims. Government cannot tell me what to do lt!
britain waken up. Batten down the hatches. Nobody knows when officially started in China, but Lets say mid Jan. over worse of it now. Relatively short time period. There sadly will be deaths but even with the greatest care, these will inevitably happen. The country at large needs to get a grip, knuckle down for next 4-6 weeks and let’s get through it as best we can.
To all all of you. Be sensible, do the hand washing, stay safe, look after others, lets get through this

Click confirm & next bill will be adjusted automatically
It’s not live chat just a box to click confirm ( you need to be logged in ) -

A Plane with 5 passengers on board, Donald Trump, Boris Johnson, the Pope, Nicola Sturgeon and a ten year old school boy.
The plane is about to crash and theres only 4 parachutes.
Trump said I need one. I’ve to sort out the USA!’ Takes one and jumps
The pope said ‘I need one, I've to sort out the Catholic Church.’ He takes one and jumps.
Boris said ‘I’m the smartest man in England.’ He takes one and jumps.
Nicola said to the ten year old "you can have the last parachute. I've lived my life, yours is only starting".
The 10 year old said "Don’t worry, there are 2 parachutes left. The smartest man in England took my school bag

A few days ago I said my company had seen a drop of 60% in sales within a week. And following today's announcement it's dropped to zero income.
f**k me that was as fast and brutal as it was unexpected.
Maybe I can get a job as a shelf filler at Asda. At this rate I might need to sell my body at the docks.. 🤣
Anyone complaining about only getting 80% of their wages is welcome to visit me for a swift boot in the balls. 🤣🤣🤣

Well at least he has now been decisive.
Just hope that this thing blows over before our entire economy collapses.
In the face of that, people complaining about only 80% of salaries being covered need to have a word with themselves. Some serious levels of entitlement out there.

To be fair the Chancellor came across well
Boris should have went the whole hog earlier the week though

I happen to agree.
People forget these decisions are taken with the input of various people.
Some nuggets seem to think Boris just wakes up and makes a decision then has breakfast.

It's part of the plan to reduce the spike that will drown the NHS, no secret amount of people with symptoms.

An unprecedented support package improving daily and responding to the people’s needs.
A measured and appropriate response and very supportive of all sectors as far and probably beyond what is reasonably expected.
No other government and certainly never a labour government would match this.

Couldn’t even contemplate that now.
Another thing is that I was attending away games on supporters buses with my mates from as young as 11. I’m pretty sure parents these days would never allow that. It wasn’t bad parenting or anything, it was just different times. I think as kids we were so much more “streetwise” and independent than kids are these days.
I remember one away game at Fir Park. We lost 1-0 (memory tells me Gregor Stevens May have scored their goal). It was bedlam inside the stadium and out. I remember at the final whistle I nearly got trampled to death by the Saints crowd in their rush to get out the ground for a square go. Fortunately some random man hauled me up by my collar and saw me alright. From memory me and my mate had to walk through a park or some woods to get back to the bus and a big guy from our bus (Tudor) called Mack (long hair and always bedecked in a long leather coat) was punching seven bells out of some (I presume) Motherwell fan in the woods. Either that or he’d just fallen out with his pal 🤣

Kick off looks like Sunday 7pm. 6 mins each half. FFS how many cans can you drink in 12 Minutes. Hope Jimbo can stretch the media bit out. Still not sure who's playing for saints but Morias, McAllister and Magennis the front runners.

I went on The Rosebud bus a few times in the early 80s. Interesting bunch of chaps on that bus. 🤣
Crackin laugh anytime I went on the bus.
My most regularly used bus was the one Tosh used to organise from the Tudor. Also used the Bridge St. and Court Bar buses a few times.

Plenty TV series but I never seem to find the time, although last Saturday/Sunday was a fecking nightmare.
Nothing to watch or bet on.
