Kristen Dennis is now on 16 goals for the season.

    The rest is history.

I still live in hope one of our strikers hit a purple patch.

Thing is with Dennis, he has a manager who understands what he is good at and that is being a right place right time player. He has younger players doing the running either side and all he has to do is be in the box.

Anyway back to topic, I did think that brophy would have been the answer but considering he isn't injured at moment there has to be huge questions about attitude if he still can't break into the team meaning starting matches.

    County Square
Back to 1967 and a damp, cold and slushy day in "the Square" with a Western SMT Albion Lowlander taking up space, possibly on rail replacement work, outside the Head Post Office (now Weatherspoons) and Gilmour Street Station.

    No photo description available.

No doubt even then the driver would be subjected to the whinging that the bus was cold, etc 🤣🤣

Anyways at least then the conditions wouldn't really cause chaos with the bus unlike nowadays where just about everything has a sensor and once they get affected by constant wet conditions the bus decides it's no playin anymore.

A tactical masterclass by the european team, reverting to basic tactics that certainly rumbled the South Americans.

Unfortunately sticking Virgil up first for the penalties wasn't such a good move.

Should give hope to Croatian the semi final.

Messi proves, as if proof were needed, he's a footballing genius.

Agree with Virgil taking first pen, can see the point of captains responsibility but he is a centre half. There is a reason why people play as a defender.

    £2m 🤣🤣🤣

We’ll bend over and take £250k right up the jacksy like we always do.
Decent sell on clause is the very best we’ll do.

Agree with you on that. Problem is the sell on clauses are on the never never imo and are taking a punt on what might happen.

I was going to say take the big transfer fee but look at the cats arse we made of the fergie fee.

  5. Having been away for the day and missing game but keeping a sneaky eye on score I would have said very decent point to get.

Apparently Mrs CS says better things to do on a Saturday🙄🙄🙄🙄

Anyway back to topic, never a penalty in a million years and it has to be said after an appalling year of VAR in English Premier where everything was scrutinised beyond belief, this season there is a bit more common sense applied this season.

Hopefully such decisions won't stand next season in SPL.

    It was a dive.

Once again we got what we asked for.

Instead of staying on the front foot and adding to our score against 10 men, we played for corner tip-taps.

We have lost a few points this season with our negative tactics.

Having said that, where did the extra 2 minutes come from?

Ref had taken it for a draw on coupon😐

Went from controlling the ball i.e. in lead up to goal then it appeared to be panic stations!!!

    3-2, game over.

Disappointing, County are no more than average, we, if we are hoping to be top 6, really shouldn't be losing to teams like this.

Hard to see many positives TBH.

No positives from any loss. Agree with someone else's post, other teams have worked us out to an extent, games like this one are never going to be good on the eye. Players have got be up for it and for some reason have got this top 6 team stuff locked in their heads and it does seem apparent because of this inability to fight for every win. 2 games now we have a shambles instead of a team that was working for each other.

Do SMiSA not have first dibs on the Kibble shares at cost price according to the terms of the original deal should they be prepared to sell?

Would be interesting to see if that was the case or not.

Well, SGG wants SMiSA to refocus and get to the original % share target and that costs money.

Where else does the money come from in a Fan owned scenario to buy out the Kibble ?

    Fans money got us here

Only thing is I'm sure Kibble would sell their % for a lot more that they acquired it for.

No extra money was offered but that organisation did provide two “free” General Managers who had gained Experience elsewhere in Hillington.

You should do some research into that project.

Indeed I did. Whether or not it was a failure nobody would know due to the impact covid had on such businesses. A friend of mine had to close his business in the leisure/entertainment sector just purely down to adaptations, trying to get people back in and not forgetting the impact on older machinery not operating for so long just made it not viable.

Having said that what they changed the Hillington project into certainly followed to the points I have made about Kibble potentially utilising current club sponsors, etc  in providing work experience for their work based training programmes. Basically saving the hassle of cold calling companies.
