  1. It's kind of odd as I was talking about this kind of thing with my parents earlier in week. We had got onto subject of what things were like in 60s etc and ice cream/desert shops were commonplace in such as largs, saltcoats etc. Think it came into line with them going tenpin bowling then (when you had to count own score) and how all these things go in cycles. Although being in west Cumbria, we haven't caught up with the tanning salons yet........................not saying they are slow here but๐Ÿ˜‰
  2. Always fancied a pub crawl of causeyside street starting from top but knew I'd never make full length๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ
  3. I'm going to go for a more upbeat view. Am I disappointed that JG literally admitted he was going for the draw given the team he had at his disposal, no I'm not. Honesty not b/s goes a long way imo. Hindsight is amazing in the respect that although disappointed at not getting in top 6 is it a bad thing as hopefully we can finish the season with a winning mentality which may not have been the case as livi and the fakes may find out. The squad is better and more settled than we have had for quite a few years but to quote and old tradesman that I was assigned to 'you can only piss with the **** you've got' Onwards and upwards
  4. Remember watsons although it was a no no according to my mate as his mum and her fella drank in there haha. Used to start off at station bar, then workers, the finlay's for the sangria jugs( ok until you started getting stuck into the fruit๐Ÿ˜‰) then eventually ending up in carnegies
  5. What I meant was the irony of the split, where the team that finishes 7th can accumulate more points than ones above. IMO apart from the old firm and maybe county and accies there isn't that much of a gulf between other 8 and all it takes is a good or bad run to end up in right or wrong side of split.
  6. Ironically we will finish 7th with more points than livi and fakes. Just really shows the pressure that 1 game had and I'm sure those who are already under contract or decide to extend will be better for it next season. Expectations have changed I think.
  7. I thought JG had already said he wouldn't be offered a deal.
  8. Ahh never in doubt ๐Ÿ˜‰. To be watched again on sportscene with a few more beers...............no work tomorrow๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘
  9. Scored to annoy you ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ
  10. Got to agree there. They can't function with a safe season.
  11. Another nice settlement from another club. Celtic hopefully next Jose victim๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚
  12. Maybe a touch jealousy yesterday..............even more today as back on early shift tomorrow ๐Ÿ™„๐Ÿ‘
  13. I'd say bottom 3 at mo will be the ones to go down although if WBA put a decent run from now til end of season I wouldn't be surprised if the offer allardyce a rather big contract to get them back up. However hopefully Everton win tonight but both teams scoring โ˜บ Won't know score as I've got to be up at 10 to 4๐Ÿ˜ฆ
  14. got to agree with the pub bit, everywhere I went on my travels today they were all beering it outside notably age groups which I would assume not had any jab yet. Recipe for disaster, for me another month might have been better for it once get more jabbed. was taken aback this morning by a que outside a barber's in whitehaven at quarter to 7 this morning with inside busy. not needed them for 27 years although do have to take my boys which I'm like a fish out of water in that situ.
  15. I agree, has had plenty of chances to sign. Surely got a tongue in his head and can say to agent he wants to sign or not. Maybe his agent can find him a nice ELF lg2 club that will pander to him. Great career advice that would be JDH.
  16. It's a vicious circle with schools tho. More pupils, more money. Quite frankly they have to run like a business. The problem is everything contradicts itself. Perfect example here, did a schools shift today now in school they have class/year bubbles and have staggered breaks etc but can all travel together on a bus๐Ÿ™„.
  17. Agree but there is only so much schools can do. My middle lad is at high school and they test twice a week. When they started it was at school itself but now they send testing kits home. So Thursdays and Sundays are testing days in our house with me, son and mrs cs doing one. The school he goes to insist that they all register their results with school and anyone not doing that is classed as positive case and not allowed in school. Schools can't be held accountable groups of kids gathering out of school hours, that's parents not being strict enough at this moment.
  18. No not all FS. As the only Scot in the depot will take no pleasure whatsoever of saying that tomorrow. England think they should be giving everyone a good gubbin tho. Another thing, they all been quiet over 6 nation's...............๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚
  19. Denmark prob won't score too many more now. However I hope England dont score too many more as it will be great to go into work tomorrow saying 'points of the board' etc as they all will be sitting miserable over a say 2 nil win over Albania ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ
