  1. Haha very much so. The worrying thing is that Luxembourg could have scored more. If I were Danish coach I would tell team not to let up
  2. Wonder what the Moldova halftime team talk will be........................🤣🤣🤣
  3. Lucky escape I'd say...................could have joined the list of crap managers🙂
  4. As much as some interesting players they also were on the decline and had been relegated out of division 1 season prior and they were playing a team very much on the up.
  5. Watched the meet the manager on you tube, really impressed with the end bit with JG vision for club. Also looking at the channel, and seeing a 47 sec video. Took me back, really did. Kenny Morrison, jeez haven't seen, albeit very briefly at Annan match in cup a few years back(a 'home' away match for me) since I left to come down here in 94.
  6. I know what you mean by those 2, I think in 85 I was maybe too young to realise the enormity of it but 2010 goaded by rangers fans at work🙄. Got to thinking about other footy situations with both saints and that lot in carlisle, there has been plenty whether getting up to paisley when work, etc allow or driving supporters bus for carlisle(free entry into grounds), sometimes my job had it's perks🤣
  7. I think now the dust has settled after what was a horrible situation on saturday it's time to get behind the team again. I know I'm not going to rant about Saturday again and I know I've had plenty on here. I'm sure the players were left in no doubt what it meant after being told by JG to go, stay away from each other and come back in on Tuesday. Probably left with a lot to think about and what's required for rest of season. COYS!!!!!
  8. Did notice that west ham had managed to score 5 of those🤣
  9. I don't know about anyone else but when I went yesterday, I just sat in silence. I can only really remember 1 occasion this happened and that was near end of 03/04 season. Was at brunton park with bro in law when carlisle were relegated out of football league, that was really bad with say 7k+ inside ground in silence/disbelief. However you can't beat the rollercoaster that is supporting saints👍
  10. I'm going for an optimistic view in that they will have such an arse kicking from Scott, Fitzy, & Goodwin over the next few days(and they should do) that they all will grow a pair and make sure they end up 7th.
  11. I only had a bit of a bad head and arm a little sore for a couple of days but if it means we all get back to sort of normal so be it. Anti vac people should be given a big bell to walk about with imo, shows how much you think about others😡 As for EU, if AstraZeneca vaccine had been EU wholly developed then it would have been best thing since sliced bread just another childish political battle over brexit I'm afraid and will cost them in lives and in an economic sense, thank god we got out. And I at time of vote was a remainer.
  12. Just watched post match interview and I don't believe for one minute that the camera Goodwin is what the players will get. I do also think he subbed to see the game out yesterday and I'm sure if Goodwin had still been a player then all sorts of time wasting tactics would have been used. I think he has learned a lot about supposedly influential players in team the hard way. In say all that I think a bit less opinionated on other team's situations next season please. Like going on about players going over easy etc then having one of your own accused which I believe now has caused a rift and not injury for not playing. Kills me to even say this but come on Jim be more like Gerrard and not give a shit about any other club except your own.
  13. I think today was make or break for some that are out of contract at end of season. I would like durmus and connolly to stay but play them right. I agree with the brophy/dennis strike force with be good esp if get good service. Apart from Flynn the midfield is fairly young and need an experienced motivator of a captain to drive them on, shaughnessy isn't the one, sorry JG.
  14. We did have and f***** it up. It wouldn't have bothered me if we had got 6th and lost next 5, instead we are back to the scrapping which I though we would have finally got rid of.
  15. Martindale and Davidson have their teams playing the same way week in week out and all the players buy into it and know what they are doing. It's as if we try and match the opponents formation and hope for the best instead of picking something that works for us and stick with it, then the rest have to deal with us.
  16. The biggest failure of today was the inability to close the game. Not only in the goal sense but running time down by whatever means more so in a game like today's. Whether it's knocking it out of play mid opposition half, taking time for either player or keeper to retrieve ball, drawing cheap fouls or even faking injury. I guess it's not how JG would approach things but when needs must.
  17. I think if we went with the idea of crossing that ball AT obika instead of to him, might fare better as it seems the more time to react the worse he is. Erwin, sorry but that was a mistake, thankfully we don't spend millions to buy these players.
  18. I don't know why all the finger pointing at couple of heavy defeats. We were in driving seat today and to be fair against easier opposition that the fakes were. It's all good blaming JG but he isn't on the pitch. The captain should shoulder blame too, doesn't seem to be able to motivate team. I mean doing an online interview stating there was a bit of nervousness couple of days before game really doesn't fill anyone with confidence surely not from captain anyway. Formationwise stick to 442 for gods sake and get durmus and connolly making fullbacks life a misery and getting ball into box with 2 strikers going for it and stop fannying around with goal kicks. They had a great chance, blew it and now need their arses kicking for it.
  19. Anything but coronavirus mate that may send too many over the edge🙂
  20. I don't mate they want their arses kicked from now til next week.
  21. Absolutely gutted. Biggest problem is we need a decent striker, Erwin and Obika can go now, never going to get anywhere with those 2. I would be looking to offload shaughnessy seen him a quite a few times this season and always does look as tho there quite a few howlers in him, I know that might be unpopular with some on here but mc carthy does need someone a bit more steady alongside him.
