Having had a look at south shields site, etc it does appear that they are a fairly progressive club. Along with Newton they have picked up a couple of other ex league players which will help them this season. With Kevin Phillips as manager they will be able to attract such players and I can imagine they are fairly well financially supported by owner salary cap doesn't apply at that level. As well as that they do have a good catchment area for players who may not make it at much higher level.

What is interesting is that Gogic is still without club. As clubs all over the country are filling their squads and indeed their budgets are getting used up then this again could be a case of agents advice being not great. We may still be in the race as demands will be lower as time starts running out. However unfortunately JG rates him and he obviously has a bigger budget than we have.

Its going to be a long slog as usual. Let's face it really, we wouldn't have it any other way being saints fans!! As for the crap players I'm not being funny but we aren't going to have a great pick of 'better players but may sometimes find a rare gem amongst the load that released elsewhere. What doesn't help is we don't have players of value that can provide club with the finances to increase budgets. Tactics and performance, well we still don't have the players capable of the wingback play. Never have never will. Stick to something sensible like 442. And keep hands away from sight when in own penalty area😉

What gauls me about it all is that he is a decent striker really but there seems to be something amiss. What he needs to realise that at 26, the way he has carried on. Nobody going to take a chance on him in future or next choice of club very very limited. Killie exactly knew what they were offloading.
