It wasn’t the two injuries with us as much as the lengthy lay off in his last competitive season. Maybe I got this wrong, I thought that was what was written when he joined us.

The big guy looked great last night, and would be a quality addition, no doubt. But if we push the boat out for someone, his injury record would need to be considered.

That sounds a good school, my son tells me less than half the kids in his class didn’t even collected the test kits, they don’t want to do the tests. School says it’s powerless. I don’t blame the school, lack of social responsibility is the problem.

Lumping high balls to Brophy won't help him. I really rate Tait but his crossing is atrocious. If we play one or two wee guys up top we should be playing it on the deck to the team's strengths. Did Jim not say he made a mistake last season by playing to negatively giving too much respect to the opposition. We he’s repeated that this year. Maybe we would have played with my flair if Denise and Brophy weren’t injured. Then again Brophy reminds me of Danny Mullen.

Maybe, and I’m being tongue in cheek is the problem when your manager is articulate and good looking they and the press start to believe their own hype. Martingale and Davidson just go about their clubs business not seeking headlines. Love Goodwin, but heads down, get the job done then start courting the press.

Gutted but not surprised. We don’t deserve it for falling to beat Hamilton in either of the last two games against them or any of the other winnable matches in February. That said if we finish 7th we’d have been happy with that at the start of the season and praised the boys and Goodwin for improving on last year. Let’s hope we can find a striker in the summer and we can look to next year with optimism.

I agree with others sentiments. I reckon I’d chuck all interest in football if it ever came to pass we let the ugly sister lay the groundwork for having their b teams dominate Scottish football when their A teams chase the money in some other league. They want to have their cake and eat it and life doesn’t/shouldn’t work that way. Id love them to piss off and only win a trophy once in a blue moon. Let’s see how many fans they’d have then.
