  1. Direct quote cut and paste from BBC page they state forward but he is a midfield player You know you can trust the BBC ๐Ÿ˜€
  2. Forward Ross Callachan is to leave Hamilton Academical after activating a clause in his contract allowing him to walk away for free after relegation from the top flight. Top goal scorer for Hamilton 9 goals and 3 assists in the league, not a bad return from midfield
  3. Will we play back 3 as our main formation next season
  4. Celtic and Rangers are set to field 'B' teams in the Lowland League next season after a "majority" of member clubs voted in favour. The decision, having been provisionally approved by clubs earlier this month, was confirmed at the Lowland League's annual general meeting on Thursday. Celtic and Rangers will each pay ยฃ25,000 as entry payment for their one-year participation. Neither Old Firm colts team will be eligible for promotion.
  5. Guy Melamed (born 21 December 1992) is an Israeli professional footballer who plays as a forward for Scottish Premiership club St Johnstone. Scored 5 goals in 18 appetences. He has turned down a contact, do not know why probably money or may be not settled in Perth be worth taking to his agent with that scoring ratio. Tanser contract also expired
  6. I disagree but you are entitled to you opinion I do not think Murray will make it in the English Premiership ๐Ÿ˜„
  7. Euan Murray (born 20 January 1994) is a Scottish footballer who plays as a defender for Dunfermline Athletic. He began his career at Motherwell and has also played for, Arbroath, Clyde, Stenhousemuir and Raith Rovers as well as English clubs Barrow and Southport, and in the Solomon Islands for Western United. Those names do set the heather on fire. He is described as a defender centre back who can play defensive midfielder. he has 24 appearances in the championship 3 goals and 1 assist. Dunfermline finished 4th 19 points off the top. They conceded 1.26 goals per game. I have never seen him play but nothing I have found suggests that he is a Premiership player.
  8. O'Halloran was linked before cup tie gone quit but he has not signed a new contract although Davidson says he wants him to stay.
  9. I assume he has replacements lined up and they are ready to put pen to paper once he makes the announcement. Then again I sometimes live in the land of make believe. ๐Ÿ˜€
  10. Wins for Motherwell, Rangers, Celtic, Hibs. St Mirren and Ross County get to your turf accountant ๐Ÿ˜Ž
  11. I am sure the stadium capacity is not the only problem as a team can play in any stadium. Many teams from other countries play in grounds of other teams or their national stadium

  14. SAINTS SWITCH? St Johnstone star Michael Oโ€™Halloran transfer target for St Mirren as they weigh up raid on Scottish Cup rivals. Again if you believe the Sun https://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/sport/football/7033347/st-johnstone-michael-ohalloran-transfer-st-mirren-scottish-cup/
  15. New Aberdeen manager Stephen Glass is eyeing a move for St Mirren's top scorer Jamie McGrath and is in signing talks with Motherwell defender Declan Gallagher. (Sun) If you believe anything printed in the sun
  16. Still possible (nothing like blowing your own trumpet ๐Ÿ˜)
  17. JG states he wants to replace the 5 or 6 who are departing with 5 or 6 quality players which I guess will be a mixture of youth and experience.
  18. He needs a goal from open play, most players can score from the spot. The only thing that it will tell him is, he can score from 10 yards when there are no defenders near him. His goal will come.
  19. If I recall Celtic bid about 1 mil and Villa out bid them with a bib in the value of 2 mill. Would any of the top English clubs pay 40 mil I doubt it McGinn is a foreign player and the English players have a premium (so many national players required for European football) His value has risen but in my opinion to about 20 mil. In his favour he has a long contract (2025) and if 2 teams want him, we know prices can get silly. I can see him staying at Villa for the foreseeable future so I would not hold my breath while waiting for our cut of any transfer fee.
  20. Nothing to worry about we will not finish in the bottom 2. We'll end up 7th
  21. Don't care how they win, just win and keep the interest in this season going
  22. Why just Fakes and Livi? They finished top half and within our budget (maybe) And two was enough for me. You can do others if you wish ๐Ÿ˜Ž
  23. Had a quick look online at players out of contract and yet to be offered one at St Johnstone and Livingston. I cut and paste from a site called transfer market. If we could afford their wages any in the list which would improve us next season St Johnstone Stevie May Centre-Forward Guy Melamed Centre-Forward Craig Conway Left Winger Michael O'Halloran Right Winger Murray Davidson Central Midfield Craig Bryson Central Midfield Scott Tanser Left-Back Callum Booth Left-Back Livingston Jay Emmanuel-Thomas Centre-Forward Scott Tiffoney Left Winger Scott Robinson Central Midfield Steve Lawson Central Midfield Josh Mullin Right Midfield Djibril Diani Defensive Midfield Jon Guthrie Centre-Back Efe Eric Ambrose Centre-Back Alan Lithgow Centre-Back Jack Fitzwater Centre-Back Nicky Devlin Right-Back Aaron Taylor-Sinclair Left-Back
