Sadly wrong on all counts Shull. The place was “Jam Packed” and the score was Ex Buddies (Shankland 2) Saint Mirren 0

Makes sense to me and hope for a 7,000 plus crowd at what will be our last home game of 2023 with us sitting in the top six.

Aye, that's how it appeared from the Sportscene highlights.
    Anyway, Merry Christmas to you and to @antrin, @shull, @ALBIONSAINT, @Albanian Buddy, @pondsman, @Swiss_Saint, @BigYardsAndBasher, @elvis, @Slarti, @munoz, @djchapsticks, @St.Ricky, @DougJamie...and to everyone else, too (I was just seeing how many usernames I could remember without looking). 👍

Give the man space Sid. This place is his and his alone. It’s important to him. Let him be - I say. Even I give him likes and he with me. There, I’ve said it.

I must have missed this stooshie. I find it hard to imagine an adult getting uptight about the number of likes on an online forum like this. Surely you were mistaken?

O'Hara remains our prime playing asset and Ayunga's form of last year could well put him in the mix for a starting place in games where we will soak it up and hit on the break.  Grieve seems far happier coming off the bench and taking advantage of tiring defenders and I suspect that is where he will stay.  Small is also back and on a one year loan he is going to be playing sooner rather than later.  Overall a good position when a larger squad is needed, remember how badly we faded in the final 5 or 6 games of last season, that is far less likely now
I am concerned that the younger players will get less game time now that the squad has been strengthened, Robinson does not seem to me to be the kind of manager to give a player a run just to help him develop.

Couldn't make it to game, had to watch on iptv with red TV, that was fun! Thought we were excellent and deserved a victory, as others have said its good times when we are disappointed to be drawing with aberdeen. To a man a great performance and consistency is now the aim. We can give anyone a game now, SR is working out as an excellent appointment

Baccus and Strain are an amazing unit playing together, their interplay can be beautiful to watch. Look at the build-up to our penalty yesterday. I'm pretty sure O'Hara will be a starter when he's fit again but hopefully not at the expense of Baccus.

I know Baccus has had his bad moments last season after World Cup but last two weeks he's been looking the best he's been since he joined us imo.

Was feeling confident about this game until I saw Motherwell's new guy, Biereth, on Sportscene on Sunday. On loan from Arsenal, big strong lad playing up front, scored a fine goal at the weekend and will need to be kept quiet by our defence. Today I hear that O'Hara is ruled out for this game and another two as well, so not feeling nearly so confident now. Still, as always.....

My son lives in Gosport and is a Portsmouth season ticket holder. Whenever I was down there I’d go watch Pompey. I was always impressed with Bolton. Good all round defensive player. Can play CH or FB

See that O'Hara will be missing for Motherwell and Aberdeen, real chance for Baccus and Boyd-Munce to show what they've got on the assumption that Robinson sticks with Gogic at CH.

Thanks for your advice. My rehab is going well. I’ve never travelled by public transport to a game. By the time of the match I will be around 4 weeks in and walking an average of 4,000 steps a day and carrying out physio exercises 4 times a day. I take a cushion with me and our season ticket seats are over a vomitory exit with a rail affixed in front. Normally my two 6ft 4inch sons are with me. I enter early from the car park into the west stand and leave late. The stairs have no handrails so avoid any crush there. Stewards on the gates have been great at letting me in without going through the turnstile and other fans have been marvellous in making sure I have had space. All in all - good for the body and the mind.
