I wouldn't put thoughts like that into peoples head Wooden Saint including your own... they'll be no easy 3 point games for us out there,  the team's below us are fighting for their lives and will just be as tough as Hibs yesterday, there's not a lot between any of us from 4th down, if were not at it in any game we won't take any points from any game 

It was a fairly similar game as the one Dundee. In the sense we huffed and puffed without really creating a clear cut chance or testing their keeper for the whole match. The only difference was that Hibs have better players than Dundee and punished us accordingly. 
I actually thought we went downhill rapidly when Grieve went off for Watt. Grieve wasn't playing well in an attacking sense, but what he was doing was buzzing around the Hibs back line and putting them under pressure so they couldn't play out from the back. Watt doesn't do that kind of hard work, and the Hibs goal came from them picking up one of our many hoofed long balls, playing it out from the back, and isolating Youan against Fraser. 

I do agree, Gogic is essentially keeping Gallagher out the team at centre half just now. Madness, does anyone think Alex is a better defender than Dec? I bet Gogic himself doesn't even think that. 

Indeed. Maybe people find my proposal quite intimidating, fearing you would join; with your obviously titanic intellect, nobody else would stand a chance. 😉 
 

Even with our (probably) injury-depleted squad we ought to be good enough to win this one. My principal concern would be the weather - the Hibs game last weekend was a reminder that form can be trumped by the elements with the howling wind clearly affecting our game plan.

Despite Saturday's result, there should definitely be points for us at Motherwell........ and at the two games after that (Ross County at home and St. Johnstone away). If we can't get at least two wins from those three games, we aren't really a top six side.

Where have you been Ricky 

Do we need a set play specialist as we seem to be unable to have any ideas from throw-in corners or freekicks in attacking areas?

To be fair, two of our last three goals came directly from set pieces...But i do agree it's something we've struggled with all season. 

Sad news. He was a fantastic goalkeeper and should have won many caps for Scotland.. He was definitely better than Jim Leighton.

Like some others, Billy Thomson was one of my 1st St Mirren heroes & still rates high on the list.

I’ve been thinking back about Billy all day One of my memories was when he won the Clubs POTY award and the prize was the use of a Talbot car for a year He was presented with his car at HT in a game v sellic He got in the car at the tunnel and drove the car round towards the Love St end and then along the North Bank to great applause Unfortunately for Billy he then had to drive back to where he started and that meant going past the away end 😂 Let’s just say I think the car would have been in for a paint job on the Monday
