I was in that crowd. Went to get hot dog for me and my two pals just before kick off. After I’d bought the food I couldnae find my way back to my seat. Watched the game by myself and ate all 3 hotdogs. Fans were immense that night. it was also the night if this glorious TV moment.

Well if you’re asking me if I’m willing to accept a level of battering the opposition and winning the game, then....erm....yes, I’m willing to accept that level. I stated in a much earlier post that our dominance in the first half was completely different to our dominance against Dundee Utd. In the first half tonight I felt like it was only a matter of time until we scored, whereas on Friday night, I felt like we would never score.

I don’t know if Turra’s view on what we need to do Saturday is based on the fact that in their typical, lazy, ignorant fashion, both the BBC and Sky have us on 6 points.

I disagree mate we had 13 attempts at goal in the first half. 5 on target. But it doesn’t really matter. Ultimately we were pish.

I think you’re missing the point mate. The first half was almost perfect barring more goals. I appreciate we have to take the opposition into consideration, but we couldn’t really have asked for much more. We weren’t in any way defensive. Then we had stupid substitutions and a clear tactical shift. All we had to do was come out second half with more of the same. If that’s what you mean by too defensive fair enough, but the first half was anything but. Tonight was 100% Goodwin’s fault and if he’s got anything about him he’ll take it right on the chin..........or preferably walk.

I’ve seen some apologist statements on football forums over the years, but that is right up there with the best of them.

Sorry mate. I respectfully disagree. Goodwin took a team tonight that was absolutely battering the opposition and for no good reason made the most ludicrously unfathomable substitutions, leading to a change in tactics which cost us a game we could have won totally comfortably. The guy is out of his depth. Absolutely clueless. I genuinely believe we are going to get lucky this season because Accies appear to be even worse than us. Difference is, I believe with a manager who wasn’t completely useless our players would be good enough to avoid relegation without too much trouble.

Absolutely f**king disgraceful. Absolutely battered them in the first half and then a combination of handing them the initiative and some utterly f**kin mind boggling substitutions and its all gone to f**k. I’m fast running out of patience with Goodwin.

Think we’ve been really good tonight. I know it’s only Morton but you can only play what’s in front of you. Big difference for me tonight is that I was always confident we’d get the goal. For all our possession and territory against United I never felt like we were going to score. More to come if we keep this up.
