Does anyone know who the guy is that clearly sits just below the TV gantry and swears like trooper? It's incredible how many expletives he gets through in one game. BT/Sky are never done apologising "if you heard some colourful language there" Reckon they don't have to apologise so much at any other ground. I'm a fan of the swearie, so it doesnae bother me, but it got to the point last night where BT almost gave up apologising as they would have spent more time doing that than commentating on the game! Sutton even said at one point "I wouldn't like to attend games with my kids if that guy below us was sitting next to me". So come on. Someone must know who it is. It might even be you.

The knockout stages have always been good, just as they were with the European Cup. It’s just those mind numbingly boring, turgid group stages they need to get rid of. The last two nights have been a bit special though. BT Sport is fairly serving up a feast of football for the viewing public. Liverpool v Barcelona Ajax v Spurs Murn v Accies mouthwatering stuff.

I don’t like these public vote competitions. The best goal doesn’t win. The goal scored by the team with most fans (or most fans that can be arsed voting) wins, not the best goal. We’re all voting for Hammill but for me the best goal is Greg Stewart’s. Back to the good old days of “a panel of experts” for me.

Exactly this. You beat me to saying it. When I saw it in the heat of the action I thought “Ooft. He could walk here”. However when you see the replay, he purposely pulls out of the challenge and in the end I thought a booking was even maybe a little harsh.

Next week is the only game I predicted we’d get nothing from. If I’m right we need to hope Accies get no more than a draw. Hmmm. I’m not so sure. Had they lost they’d have been devastated. I think getting the late equalizer will have been a lift It’ll still sting a bit that they threw away the lead, but I don’t think they’ll be massively upset.

Today was arguably Accies most winnable game and we didn’t lose ground on them. I’d have taken that. Same next week. I will settle for going into our game against them needing to win it. Hopefully we’re in a better position than that, but I’d take it.

Not a great game although we created a few chances towards the end of the half. Have to say though, it’s a pleasure (and a relief) to see us looking so solid at the back.
