  1. Dani, I don’t know if you were at the game today, but if you weren’t, don’t listen to the 3 or 4 nuggets on here who said we played badly. We didn’t.
  2. Wank Wank Good Guy Wank I am of course referring to Northstbuddie, Top Cat, Me and Herman Munster. What f**kin game were you clowns watching today? Did you only watch the first 20 minutes and then leave? Livi appeared to adapt to the conditions a little better than us to begin with and we were under the cosh a little, albeit at times the conditions seemed to be as much of a hindrance to them as a help. For the rest of the first half we were comfortably the better team. Second half again we controlled the game as much as any team could in those horrendous conditions. Don’t get me wrong, I’ll confess that I didn’t think the goal was coming, but we definitely deserved it. Some folk are never satisfied. PS - If I can add a negative point of my own, Stephen McGinn was absolutely honkin today.
  3. Methinks someone may have taken the ale this evening.
  4. Not sure where Chili is but it sounds hot.
  5. On the contrary I thought Sunderland was the perfect move for him. Working with JR again and I thought he’d really shine at that level. I now beginning to think that Lewis maybe isn’t as good as we all thought he was. Maybe just a very good Championship player.
  6. I love it when folk deem a differing opinion as a denial of their own. Anyway, I’m not stating an opinion I’m stating a fact based on the rules. Your guess is as good as mine as to why there is even a case to answer here. You’re usually a decent poster on here. Get off your moral high horse Other teams benefit from these rules all the time. Why should we be the moral guardians of what is a red and what isn’t. Oh, and on reflection my previous post may have been a tad outbursty.
  7. FFS. Whether you think it was a red or not is immaterial. IT WAS A YELLOW. For once the stupid f**kin SFA rules might have worked in our favour and you want us to bend over and take a 2 match ban right up the arse. The rule is the ref saw it and punished it as a yellow. End of case. If they issue a ban now it will make a mockery of the rules. f**k this high moral ground shite just because you think he “deserved” a red.
  8. Oakley’s goal was indeed Van Bastenesque.
  9. Obviously a daw wouldn’t be a disaster from the pure maths points of view, but I think that ignores the rest of my post. A draw for me will create a mindset of “well if we cannae beat Livi at home (a game where we HAVE to be realistically targeting 3 points), then what chance to we really have of getting out of this mess. Like I say, taking ALL factors other than the pure maths into consideration, I believe this is a must win game. Just my opinion.
  10. The term “must win game” is used a lot in football. Clearly it’s not meant in a literal sense otherwise it would be reserved only for a game where anything other than victory would see the team relegated. In the context it’s used it’s more a combination of factors. Points difference, time left in the season and mindset of our team and the teams around us. In that context, I think this is our first must win game. Assuming both Hamilton and Dundee lose on Wednesday, a win for us on Saturday will not only close the points difference, it will be a massive confidence boost (especially off the back of our last two results) and will be a crushing blow to the other two. On the flip side, lose and it will be a massive shot in the arm for our rivals as it’s a game where they’ll be thinking we’ve got a good chance of closing the gap and a significant psychological blow for us. If we win on Saturday I will be very confident we can escape this. Lose and I’ll have very little hope. So for me, this is a must win game.
  11. Not to be pedantic, but I’m pretty sure we only had one 3rd placed finish. Other than that I agree with your post tho.
  12. Absolutely no question whatsoever that it is the majority of their fans that sing the songs. However I do believe that it is a minority who are actual bigots. The rest are the oft used term of “90 minute bigots”. Take my wee niece’s boyfriend. A nicer boy your unlikely to find. Well brought up in a nice part of Renfrewshire. Swear to god if you went for a beer with the wee fella you’d think the sun shone out of his arse. He’s a home and away Rangers fan and openly admits to singing all the “tunes”. Justifies on the basis of just gettin carried away and joining in with the atmosphere. Now I know this lad and I’m telling you now he’s no bigot. So what is he then? You might say he’s stupid or thick. But again, he’s far from that. On the contrary he’s a clever lad. The problem is that as long as these 90 minute bigots do what they do, the real bigots will never be outed.
  13. I missed that joke too, not because of a lack of sense of humour, just too old and thick ... Let me clarify. The intent of my post was to be a humorous response to the question. Perhaps that wasn’t clear, because I’m old and thick too! That said, I strongly suspect that in the fullness of time, the boy will indeed be found to be pish. But that wasn’t the main thrust of my post. He hasn’t had a proper opportunity yet to fully prove his pishness.
  14. Note to self... Be sure to use emojis in future so that people with no sense of humour know that you’re only joking.
  15. My prediction is that by 5pm on Saturday you will still be a boring khunt.
